I'm so excited that I'm finally back in Dallas.
I'll be staying at Cody's since I have to stay at a player's house.
I arrived at the airport at around 10am. As soon as I got to where the arrivals go, I saw Cody standing there waiting. I immediately ran to him and jumped into his strong hockey player arms.
Time lapse-the next day
Today I started my assignment as Jim Nill's shadow.
When Cody and I got to the arena, he took me to the GM's office.
C: Ok, here we are. Good luck today Allie.
I thanked Cody and kissed him on the Cheek.
I walked into Jim's office and introduced myself.
A: I'm Allison Carson and I'm here for my shadow a GM assignment
JN: Allison, I'm Jim Nill, the General Manager of the Dallas Stars. This is my assistant Carrie Evans.
I told Jim that I knew Carrie from college, and he told me everything that we would be doing today.
The first thing that happened was Jim introduced me to the rest of the Stars staff. After I met the staff, Carrie took me down to the locker room to meet the team.
A: Carrie, do you know where you're going?
C: You seem to forget that my boyfriend plays here.
Meeting the team and watching them practice were my favorite parts of the day because I got to watch my favorite team and meet some of my favorite players. I also got watch Cody play the game he loves.
