This Christmas was absolutely amazing. We had Cody's family over as well as ours. I was so happy that I got to spend my Christmas with my best-guy-friend and both of our families.

I woke up this morning around 7 am when my mom yelled at me to wake up.
Mom: Allie, Cody and his family are here. Time for breakfast.

When I got to the table Cody said
C: Good morning Allie. Nice bed head.
And I replied,
A: Good morning Cody. I'm barely awake right now.
As my mom served us pancakes Cody put his arm around me and said,
C: I can tell.

After breakfast, we all went and sat in the living room and got ready to open presents. My first gift was from Cody. I ripped the wrapping paper off as fast as I could and screamed when I saw what was in the gift.
A: Ahhh!!! A stars jersey.
I hugged Cody and thanked him. I'm happy that I jersey to wear when I go to Stars games.

Later that night, we were hanging out with our families. My Cousin sierra came up to me and asked what was up with me and Cody, and I told her that we are just friends.
S: What's up with you and Cody?
A: we're just friends.
She looked at me like she didn't believe me.
S: come on Allie, I know you like him and he likes you. I see it in the way you two look at each other.

I had to admit, I do like Cody. There's just something about him that makes me happy, but he probably doesn't like me in that way. I mean, I'm a dork. All I ever do is study, watch hockey or youtube and play hockey. I don't know why Cody Eakin would go out with me.
