Chapter 20
The parasite inside of lord Yagani suddenly flew out, and lord Yagani slumped to the floor. The parasite screeched and attempted to fly into Azuma. When it did enter Azuma's open mouth, his body suddenly became bright yellow, his eyes glowed dark red and then he started screaming. It was a horrible screech, such that everyone in the Mizu clan must have heard. The parasite still kept rushing headfirst into Azuma's mouth, and eventually made it in. When it did, Azuma's body returned to normal, and he stopped screeching. When Azuma slowly started to open his mouth, Dai had been worried that it was the parasite about to speak. Instead, Azuma hunched over, and vomited, for several minutes that was all that was going on, and all Dai could do was sit there and watch. After a few more minutes, the parasites dead body fell out in two pieces, covered in Azuma's chunky vomit.
"A-Azuma you somehow were immune to the parasite," Dai stuttered, shocked.
"Ugh- I guess. But how?" Azuma gave the garbled reply. Suddenly, before Dai could make heads or tails of the situation, the floor opened beneath them. Lord Yagani's section on the floor, along with Kiyomi's was the only section of the gloomy room that didn't open. Dai watched as he fell, as he saw the dead parasite twitch, and convulse on the floor until it was in one piece again. It flew back into Lord Yagani, and the last thing Dai saw was the possessed Lord Yagani's ghastly grin.
