Concurrently Orokan'zao was in the elevator, while peeling a severed ear off his sword.

Well, that was easy he thought. There weren't any hard enemies on the first level.

As the elevator door opened, Orokan'zao stuck his sword out, in preparation for any ambush. It paid off, because as he stuck the sword out, a man jumped out and tried to grab him, but instead only hit the sword, and was on the floor writhing in pain, his arm next to him. Orokan'zao stepped out of the elevator, and decapitated the man. This time, instead of receiving the man's full 20 marks, he only received 5.

So, I only get 1/4 of the killed targets tallies. That will be harder, Orokan'zao reasoned. He then rushed towards the neon sign of the other elevator, hoping to find Dai and Azuma. When they finally met up, Azuma and Dai had both gotten to 30 tallies, and there was a pile of gored bodies next to the two. Without speaking, the group started to run, with Azuma in the center, Dai on the left, and Orokan'zao on the right. Together, they continued to plow through all the enemies, until none were left. Azuma and Orokan'zao both had 40 tallies, the amount needed to proceed, while Dai only had 35.

"I can't go with you." Dai lamented, looking ashamed.

"Yes, you can. Take my sword, and my life. You and Azuma can defeat the parasite, while I cannot be of anymore help, as I have used all of my summoning power to get the swords for you, and an old man like me can't help in a fight, while Dai is still able bodied." As Orokan'zao finishes his final words, he grabs Dai's hand, and bashed it against his left leg. He instantly burst into flames, and only a single sword was left. Orokan'zao was gone, and Dai had 75 marks, which was more than enough. They walked to the last elevator, and started recovering their strength. They were both still shocked at Orokan'zao's suicide. They decided to sit at the base of the elevator, without pressing the button, and rest for a few minutes before the final fight.
