Chapter 3

When they arrived at the bustling docks, they were astounded by the sheer size of the boats. Each boat looked like it could hold hundreds of people!

"So, Kiyomi, which boat should we take?" Azuma inquires.

"Well, that one over their looks nice." Kiyomi points at a boat. The beautiful boat was a tour boat, meant to take you to and from Shark Island.

"Sure, let's go," Azuma replies.

They board the boat, and see that most of the other passengers are fishermen, going to Shark Island to buy the famous boats, which last for a lifetime. Azuma and Kiyomi definitely stood out in that kind of environment! An announcer standing towards the front of the boat gets up and yells "Ok, we will be arriving in about 2 hours, so don't do anything that could get me in trouble. Anything else is fine."

The boat is rocking uncomfortably for about 30 minutes before a strange middle aged man approached them. He was tall and burly, with a meager amount of stubble on his chin. His kind blue eyes were twinkling. His two most prominent features was a large moth eaten hat, and a heavy-looking gold chain that contrasted with his hat. His accent was funny, like he came from a distant land.

"So, why are you guys headed to Shark Island?" the man asked.

"We saw a strange meteorite, and decided to check it out," Azuma replies.

"Well, that's a coincidence, I happened to see the meteor too. I was coming here anyway, to get myself a boat, but if ya want we can check it out together. In case you were wondering, my name's Dai," the strange man offers with a gap-toothed grin.

They chit chat around and get to know each other for a while, before the huge boat pulls to a stop. Azuma, Kiyomi, and Dai get off. They see a smoke pillar rising, and instead of running away, the threesome head straight for it. As they approach the meteor, they hear a loud buzzing sound. Kiyomi turned to see what was causing it and saw a large bug hurtling towards her face.
