The next day, they were summoned by Mitaehl to come to the council room where they were before. When they walked in, they saw that the old men on the high chairs had a grim look on their face.
“We don’t need the truth seer. We now know you have told us the truth, but its too late.” The man all the way on the right says, nearly in tears.
“One of the parasites you warned us about has taken over lord Yagani!” The man in the center finished for the now crying man on the far right.
“Where is he,” Azuma asked.
“He’s in the caves, hiding. You may have noticed that the caves were a pyramid. The prisoners are kept there, and try to reach the top. If they reach the top, they are told they willl be set free. In reality, the strongest are eliminated.He is currently posing as Lord Yagani, may he swim in the clearest water, and has told the prisoners to kill anyone who enters, and then they will be raised a level, which normally requires fighting and killing at least 20 people. There are three levels, and the vile bug is at the top. Be careful,” The man on the far left explained to the shocked group.
“Lets go!” Azuma yelled as he took of running. Orokan'zao and Dai followed him.
When they arrived at the caves, they decided to split up, and try to find the path to the top. They all knew that it would be a challenging path.
“Here, take these swords, they will be enough to kill any prisoners that try to attack you. Show no mercy, as these swords cut anything if you truly want them to. They are infused with the souls of defeated parasites, to aid the rest of us in the future. They are in your hands now.” Orokan'zao said as he moved his hand in a circle, opening a gaping hole in the air, dark purple inside. he reached in and when his hand came out, he held three gleaming swords. The thing that put Azuma and Dai in awe was that the swords gleamed with darklight, as if emanating evil. They could tell that the swords could cut anything.
“Good luck,” Azuma finished, and they all sprinted into the caves that they were entering from. They entered from separate entrances to lower the chance of having to fight each other, although that could be necessary to pass the upper level.
