Chapter 9
Azuma, Dai, and Orokan'zao were still continuing on the hard trek to the Mizu clan after 3 days. Orokan'zao continued to behave, and not saying a work during the challenging trip. They had climbed over two mountains, and were aiming to find the Mizu clan at the top of the third.
When they reached the valley at the bottom of the second mountain, Orokan'zao finally spoke.
"Ok, I'm sorry boys, but I lied, there is a way to remove one of my kind from a human. I was waiting to see if you were good people before telling you. You a have a strong will to avenge your friend. You haven't treated me bad at all, so I will tell you how," Orokan'zao explained to the shocked Azuma and Dai.
"Hey Dai, do you trust this guy? Azuma asked Dai.
"Nope. We can only trust his solution by testing it on him. Orokan'zao, you had better be telling the truth. For your own sake." Dai replied, still questioning about Orokan'zao's sincerity.
"Ok. I will tell you. But," Orokan'zao started.
"What do you mean, 'BUT'! Tell us!" Azuma roared.
"I can't. That would break the rules and kill me. But I can tell you most of it." Orokan'zao replied calmly to Azuma's outbreak.
"Ok. But only if there isn't another way" Azuma replies, while he held back his anger.
"The way won't be easy," Orokan'zao said to Azuma.
"Ok, ok I get it. Now explain what the way is. I'm getting impatient." Azuma replies.
"Alright, first you have to make the parasite want to leave the person they are inhabiting, by inflicting damage on the body. And I mean wounds that will render the body useless, like breaking a leg or an arm, but you can't kill the person, or obviously they will die. Another condition is you have to find an element that scares them, to get them out of the host body, without killing the host. Say you use poison that looks deadly, but still isn't fatal, that works well. Or fire will work if you can extinguish it at will." Orokan'zao explained to the fascinated Azuma and Dai.
"Wait, so that's it. Seems easy," Azuma said casually.
"Well, that's the easy part. Each one has a special ability to protect them. I'll tell you, on one condition." Orokan'zao replied.
"What," Azuma asked.
"Let me go free. I'll tell you, then I'll leave." Orokan'zao bargains.
"Alright, fine, but if you don't tell us and try to run, you might as well be dead." Azuma had responded. He then proceeded to take the heavy, rusted chains off of Orokan'zao. After they were off, Orokan'zao stood up, and started explaining, as he stretched.
"So, the majority can only be killed by a blow to the left leg, and in addition to this have a personal ability. Some can breath blue fire, which can melt every substance on Earth, including humans. Others have more... personal abilities, that they keep secret except in emergencies. Few who see these ever survive, and when they do, it's not long before the rest of us hunt them down." Orokan'zao continues the explanation. Then, surprisingly, he started walking toward the Mizu clan.
"Well, let's keep going." Orokan'zao surprises Azuma and Dai.
"Why are you still coming. You're free to go." Dai said surprised.
"Well, I abandoned my kind, and my goal is the same as yours. To destroy the rest of them." Orokan'zao continued.
"Well, then, let's go," Azuma replied.
