A crisp breeze journeyed across the forest floor, stirring up the dead leaves and blowing my hair behind my shoulders. Goosebumps covered me from head to toe, not only because of the chilly air, but also because of the fact that I wasn't supposed to be here.

This was illegal. I could get in a great amount of trouble for being outside the fence.

Even though I was worried about being caught, I still let myself wander farther and farther into the dying yet fully alive forest.

There were birds on the highest branches of every tree that sang a beautiful song, sharing harmonies that only one that is one with nature could connect with so easily. Every once in a while there would sounds of the snapping of twigs telling me that there were deer and rabbit about, hidden by the brush that lay at the base of every tree.

It was turning into late evening as the sun's rays slithered lower and lower through the openings between the trees and their branches. I couldn't help but watch the sun sink further and further below the horizon until it was completely gone and the only light there was came from the stars that glittered above me and that of the slowly rising moon who's invisible rays illuminated everything as if they glowed.

That was when I knew I must return to the academy. Everyone would be worried that the Luna was missing and had been for serval several hours. I knew I would get an ear full from my soon to be, but I didn't care; nature is the only thing that can get my mind off all my problems anymore.

The revisiting nightmares, each time a little different, but yet still the same, haunted me day and night. Sometimes out of the corner of my eyes I think I see him, but only him.

A sigh escaped through my parted lips and within seconds, I was turned around and flying through the glowing forest, heading back to the place I would have to call home.
