Should I Stay Or Should I Go?

"So, are you going?" Noah asked me when we were the last two people in his car, just about to pull in to my driveway.

"Going, where?" I asked, but I knew and he knew that I knew very well what he meant.

   "This CHICK'S concert?" He questioned.

    Was he... jealous?

"Maybe I am," I replied, "What's it to ya?"

   "Absolutely nothing," he shrugged.

"Fine," I said, and hopped out of his car. "Buy bye."

With a flick of his fingers, he drove off.

I stomped upstairs to my room and plopped on my bed, considering all my options.

   1. I could skip the concert, and resume my boring life. - No way, I was going.

   2. I go to the concert, and Cody totally falls in love with me and we live happily ever after, unlikely.

   3. I could just go and say hi to Cody then nothing would go from there. Probably what would end up happening. I might a well just go for the experience- right?

I looked at the tickets and read the date... July 21, 2011. Woah- woah- WAIT. TONIGHT?! How was I going to get ready in an hour?!

I dialed up Maci while looking through my outfits. "Maci- concert's tonight. You comin'?"

"I guess," Maci said nonchalantly, and she was here in five minutes.

"What to wear, what to wear," I rushed, pulling my closet apart like pulling tissues out of a box.

'This is cute," Maci thoughtfully declared.

It was a teal casual short dress from hollister. Strapless, with a silver belt seperating it from the floral skirt.

   "Poifect!" I confirmed.

We rushed around, and just as I was about to leave, there was a knock on my door.

  Knock.

 "One minute," I yelled.

 Knock. Knock.

 "COMING!" I exclaimed.

Knock, Knock, Knock, Knock, Knock Kno-

"CHILL IT!" I screamed and ran to the door.

And, to my dismay, it was, Lacey.

"What Lacey?" I questioned with a roll of my eyes.

 "I'm ready"

"Ready to... Leave my porch? Ready to go somewhere else?"

"Ready to go to the cocnert," she said slowly, like I was stupid.

"And what makes you think I'd bring you?" I said, crossing my arms across my chest.

"Well,", she started, "the only way Daddy would let Maci go is if I tagged along," she said, with a flip of her obnoxious hair.

Everything about Lacey was obnoxious. Her hair, her clothes, her face. She had brown hair that was burned from excessive straightening and dying. Her face was too long and her eyes were way too close together. Her clothes were mediocre, they just did not compliment her figure. Everything about her urked me. Blech. Probably because she was so mean.

"Fine," I sighed, "but we're leaving NOW! Go, go, go!" I said, pushing us all out the door.

We hopped in to Maci's car and set out.
