I texted Noah the plans in a way that he couldn't object.
I put on a purple sequin casual dress, and curled my long brown hair in to an adorable side pony tail and added a glittery purple clip for the finishing touches. I added a layer of thick black mascara, and my signature light bronze eyeshadow.
Hate to toot my own horn here- but I looked HAWT! I would have Cod- I mean, Noah, twirled around my fingers.
Noah picked me up at 7:30, wearing his purple button down as I requested so we matched.
We got to the Cheescake Factory and said we were with reservations for Cody Simpson. The lady lead us upstairs and in to a beautiful glass lounge. The plaque on the door read "VIP Lounge".
I was shocked. This VIP lounge was chic, classy, and modern all in one. I spotted Cody an Lacey alone at a table. It looked like she was telling him something (knowing Lacey, probably how beautiful she was) as Cody was totally zoning out and playing with his straw.
I grabbed Noah's hand, and to my surprise he grinned and laughed like I had something adorable and hilarious.
"Hi guys," I sweetly smiled.
Cody looked up from his straw and took a double take, while a smile he was clearly trying to hide crept upon his face. He started to blush.
"Lacey, you look nice," I said genuinely.
"Ya..." Lacey said like it was obvious.
I rolled my eyes, "She's a keeper," I muttered under my breath.
"Excuse you?!" Lacey rudely exclaimed.
"Can I help you?" I replied with a fake smile.
Cody and Noah chuckled kinda, and Lacey clenched her teeth and whispered, "I am going to the bathroom."
'Don't be too long!' I thought of saying, but I remembered I didnt come here to fight with Lacey.
"So, Noah," I asked flirtatiously, "What looks good?" I batted my lashes.
"The hot brunette next to me sure does!" he playfully replied. I jokingly slapped his arm and gave him a peck on the cheek with an exaggerated 'muahh!'.
I saw Cody's muscles tighten slightly. Ha. Good.
Lacey came back from the bathroom walking in the room with her nose held high.
"So Lacey," Cody started. "What looks good?" he said with a flirty smile.
"I don't know I just got here don't rush me!" Lacey snapped back.
Noah and I tried to hold in our laughter. But I felt pretty bad or Cody. He deserved so much better then Lacey.
The server finally took our orders when the conversation started.
"So uh, Cody, ya play any sports back in England?" Noah asked.
This was a face to palm moment for me.
"I uh, am Australian," he replied.
"Oh, okay sorry MATE! Crickey! I made a mistake. Did ya play with boomerangs and ride kangaroos out by the waterholes?" Noah chuckled. He looked at me to see if I thought it was funny.
Cody started to look really mad and his face got red. This was not going well- time to change the subject.
"So uh Cody what sports did you play?" I asked.
