A/n- excuse typos in my previous chapters. I'm writing via my iPhone so bear with me. And thanks so much for reading, And please comment? Thanks! :)

I woke up in Cody's loft, and the first thing I did was pinch myself.

I had met Cody. He fell for me. He was my shoulder to cry on. And we kissed. If you told me this two weeks ago I woulda thought you were nuts.

I looked at my phone- dang, 9:03 a.m. I texted Mom and apologetically told her I fell asleep at a friends house. She was cool with it, as usual, totally unaffected by my whereabouts.

I walked down stairs to find Cody watching something on T.V. He was wearing his flannel PJ pants and a tshirt, and his eyes looked tired. It was adorable.

"Hey," I yawned, and stretched. "Sorry I fell asleep here last night! Can I just take a quick shower? Then I'll be out of your hair!"

"Sure, and if you don't mind I was wondering if you wanted to hang out today?" he asked hopefully.

"Of course," I replied. "By the way where's your family?"

"Oh they're spending the summer back in Australia. They said I could live on my own as long as I had a friend with me."

"And who is he?" I asked curiously.

"Nobody yet," he confirmed, "still deciding."

"Oh, ya so where's the shower?" I questioned.

"Its down the hall to the left, but before you go," he said bursting out of his couch, and grabbing my waste.

My heart jumped as our faces grew closer. 2 inches... 1 inch... 3/4... 1/2... Until our cheeks brushed and our lips pressed together. His were softer then anything- it was like I was kissing a freshly washed satin sheet.

We stood there in the hallway kissing for a good 15 seconds, and we both pulled away and looked each other in the eye. His eyes were like a book. They said so much but you had to figure out just what they read on your own. All the different streaks of color. It was remarkable.

"I've been waiting to do that since I first saw you," he said genuinely, still holding my face in his gentle hands.

"Was it worth the wait?" I said as I bit my lip, we both went in for another kiss but I playfully pulled away and ran off to the shower.

I know, snooping is bad. But I was really curious to see just what Cody kept in his bathroom. I found the usual- towels, nail file, soaps, blah. But something caught my eye. One of Cody's dog tags. It read "Cody Simpson, up & Coming".

Just as I decided it would be a good addition to my outfit, I remembered I hadn't brought any other clothes! All I had was my purple dress! I walked out with a towel wrapped around my body.

"Cody!" I whined, "I need clothes!"

"You'll have to use mine!" he replied.

Cody tossed me a few things before peaking his head out, scanning my body for a little longer then I was comfortable with and then muttering, "I like the towel, it's a good look for you!"

I walked back in to the bathroom and changed in to Cody's clothes. A plaid button down I tied at my ribs cowgirl style, with one of his v-necks under, and a pair of his jeans. I walked out and found Cody laying on his bed.

"Hey," he said cooly, "I thought I was the only hot one who could pull those off!"

"I wouldn't be so sure about that" I said, cat walking around his room like it was a runway.

I plopped down next to Cody and snuggled in to his shoulder. He took my hand and intertwined our fingers. I had to admit, it looked like our hands were two different pieces of a puzzle, and when they joined it was perfect- turning us in to one.

Soon enough we left and I had no idea where we were going, but I was with him so I didn't care.

We ended up going surfing! I know, I've lived in LA the past 15 years and I epicly failed at surfing- that's not right.

"C'mon, I'll teach you," Cody begged.

"I'll get eaten by a whale!" I laughed.

"Whale's don't eat cute girls!" he replied.

Of course those eyes won me over. We weren't even in the water, but we were practicing for what was to come.

"Okay, wave's folding from the left demonstrate what you do!"

I crouced down with my hand pointing right.

"Erm, ok," he said and pulled me off the board.

He enveloped my body from behind and kissed my neck.

"Let's see how we do in the water?" he said and lead me to the ocean.

At the end of the day, I was still not a surfer. But I had improved.

Cody lead me to a grassy hill about 50 feet from the shore. We sat down and looked at the sun setting behind the vast sea.

"This is beautiful," I whispered. But no words could describe the amount of joy that was in my heart.

"Kyra, I'm sure you get guys all over you, all saying the same thing. But listen- youre perfect. I look at you and I try to find a flaw but it's impossible. Your confident, smart, and funny. And you are more beautiful then a million sunsets. That's why I wanted to give you this," he said holding out his hand.

I shyly opened it and found a dog tag with Cody engraved with a heart.

"I had one made with your name in it. And I know we kinda just met but Ive never felt this way before."

I was speechless. Tears began to build up in my eyes.

"Cody, that's the most incredible thing anyone's ever said to me. I've never felt this way either. And I love it. I want this to last forever," I whispered.

Then, I closed my eyes and felt his warm lips on mine. A billion confetti cannons went off in my head like a parade was going on and everybody was jumping excitedly and cheering. Fireworks went crashing in to the sky. We started to make out, and the parade seemed to get bigger and even happier if possible. We started to go faster and with more passion and his hands started to wander about my shirt but I didn't care. Because I trusted him and I knew he would never do anything disgusting or make me feel ashamed.

And it went on for who knows how long until we finally pulled our lips a part and looked at the stars. And that's how I fell asleep, snuggled in to his shoulder.
