A/n hey guys! Thanks again for reading. I really just wanted to say YOU, yes YOU reading this right now? You're amazing. Even if I don't know you, you are. Because you gave my story a chance. So thanks a billion :)
Also, I am planning on writing a new story.i will of course continue this- worry not. The new one will be - I guess more professional then this? It won't be a fan fic which should be interesting because I seldom finish a story that isn't fan fic. I just love fan fic so much, it's like your controlling the actions of your favorite people.
Ok, that's enough of me goin on about stuff you don't care bout. Here's what you came here for,.. :)

Its weird to think, twenty four hours ago I was balling my eyes out about Cody and I's split, and now I was on top of the world.
I got my perfect guy back, had the greatest BFF ever, Lacey finally found some other people to bother, and it was almost my birthday party!
I had turned 16 a week before I met Cody. That's why I've been driving. And I think it's luck that I waited to have my party, if I had it any earlier I wouldn't have known Cody, so he wouldn't be able to come!
Maci, Jake, Cody, and I all went out for lunch and shopping to find party dresses. Not for Jake and Cody of course- well I hope they wouldn't show up in dresses.
We hit the grove, and found a little cafe to eat at. Cody only got approached by three fans during our meal, who all, looked at me disapprovingly obviously noticing how close together the two of us were.
"So, what exacty is this party," Jake asked.
"Well, I'm just renting out a club and having about 300 people!" I said nonchalantly.
They all looked at me like I had to be joking.
"What?" I said innocently, "It's my sweet sixteen!"
"What about you Code- ya gunna sing your girl a song?" Jake tauntingly nudged him in the ribs.
Cody and I stole a quick glance before he shyly responded, "If that's what she wants!"
I shrugged and didn't know what to say- that would be asking a lot of him. Plus he might just want to be Cody, Kyra's boyfriend not THE Cody Simpson for one night.
Luckily I was saved by the waiter- bringing us our food.
After we ate we decided it'd be best if the guys and girls seperated just so we could both go in to the stores we wanted. Then we would meet by the entrance later.
"I'm so glad you and Cody are back," Maxi excitedly admitted while rumagging through some dresses at Forever 21.
"I know!" I agreed, "Everything just feels right in my life. I mean, it's summer, I'm dating a great guy, you're dating his best friend... But it seems like.." I said with a pause. I thought for a second. "It seems like there's gotta be a catch. Like, it's too good to be true."
"Oh, relax." Maci scoffed. "Youre fine, nothings gonna happen, it's all good."
I shrugged and took my dresses in to the fitting room. Maci would be my judge and tell me what was hot and what was not. Oh who am I kidding- I look hot in everything! Kiddin'!!
The first dress was a banana yellow strapless that had a poofy skirt and a black belt. It was kinda cute.
"Perfect for somebody else's party," Maci thought, "But hun YOU are the star of this show!"
I couldn't agree more. The next dress was a forest green mid sleeved low cut with a pencil skirt. Definitely not. Oddly, the only way I could describe it was it looked like a character from Harry Potter would wear it to a school dance.
As I thought my luck was running out, going through a dozen dresses- all ok but not good enough, I saw a light blue dress in the corner. I don't even think I picked it out, like it had been left from someone before me.
Why not give it a try? It was just my size, and an added bonus, Cody's favorite color.
I slipped it on and turned around to see myself in the mirror. I watched my facial expression go from absolutely bored to stunning.
Oh. My. The top was v-neck low cut and tied around my neck almost like a bikini. It was complimented with bright jewels in blues and greens. It tightened below the chest where it tied in the back, and the rest just flowed beautifully.
It was imperfect- in the most perfect way. It was effortless- so simple, yet incredibly stunning.
I walked out just as Maci was sipping her tazo tea. She spit it out all over the couch she was casually lounging at.
"When you put THAT dress on," Maci exclaimed with her eyes wide- "A star is born."
We met up with Cody and Jake a little after 3:00. They had some bags but not nearly as much as we did- and Cody, being the gentleman he is- took mine even though his hands were full.
Over all, I had bought my dress, some perfect metallic rose colored lip stick that would go GREAT for my party, blue and green gem bracelets for my dress, and, my favorite- a long chain with a blue, gem "C". Need I explain what it stands for?
We got in the car and immediatley started talking about my party. We were all just so excited. Then- out of the blue, Cody took my hand and looked me in the eye.
"Kyra-" he started, a nervous shake in his voice "Will you be my date to your party?"
I'll admit- it was hard to force myself not to chuckle- not even a little. I mean, nobody really asks others to birthday parties. But at the same time, I couldn't find it more unbearably cute and sweet.
I cupped Cody's face in my hands, and softly kissed his lips. His expression was hard to read- relieved, nervous, and a little vulnerable.
"Does that answer your question?" I flirtatiously questioned.
"I dunno if it went through," Cody chuckled, "Why don't you try again?" he whispered, biting his lip.
We both went in and I put my arms around his neck. Letting his warm minty lips guide me passionately. I ran my fingers through his soft hair, and couldn't help but get lost in his smooth and velvety lips. It was like I had left the world- until I heard Jake and Maci mockingly gag at us- then I came crashing back.
We all laughed and talked the rest of the ride home until Cody's driver dropped me off at my house, with Maci of course. My party was tomorrow and we had to get ready together so she was staying over.
The boys came to the porch to kiss us goodbye, and even though I knew I would see Cody tomorrow and probably text him all night, I couldn't help but want to stay with him. That Aussie had that affect on me.
Both Maci and I walked in completely head over heels. The day had been fab for us both. Shopping, lunch, a little girl time, and we each got some very passionate moments with our Aussies.
That night we did our nails and waxed eyebrows- all the little things that made a big difference.
By the time I fell asleep, I was on cloud nine. Tomorrow was my big day.
Im going to have a blast. I'm going to dance the night away, I'm going to be with my friends and boyfriend, nothing could ruin this- not even Lacey Van Kemp.
Or so I thought. But, of course, she always finds a way... And this time- the outcome is not pretty.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
aha cliffhanger! Haha! Sorry if my chapters are short by the way. I'm only doing this because I'm going to have more chapters then usual- so it will even out.
so what is Lacey going to do to sabotage Kyra this time? Let's hope it doesn't involve Cody! But knowing Lacey...
Also, I was thinking of giving y'all a sneak peek of a new story I'll be working on - in the next chapter. It's another romance but I wanna test it out on YOU before I upload! You think ya wanna sneak peek? It's about an Italian boy, an "invisible" girl, a plane ride and love. Haha that probably sounded random. Tell me if ya do!
anyway you know the drill- comment vote start a discusiion! What do u think of Kyra and Cody? Will Lacey change?
