Everything was all set. Janey came by earlier to drop off the desserts and promised to come by later with the rest of her friends for the party; afterwards, Mikado came over to help me spray die my hair.

"Why'd you get eight cans of spray?" I asked surprised.

"Well four of these are regular spray and the other four are glittery, not to mention that your hair is long and thick so it would help to layer it while we spray it so that it looks equal." She reasoned.

"OK, but first I need you to help me make mummy dogs, monster tacos, and stuffed monster ravioli." Mikado gave me a pleading look. "Don't worry," I started. "It's super easy. I mostly just need you to chop stuff up and mix stuff together." I nodded.

"That, I can do." She smiled.

Once we finished off cooking everything we started to get ready. The plan was to go to a haunted house first then meet back at my place for the haunted house party; once the party was over me and my crew were gonna binge watch every scary movie ever.

"Hold still." Mikado grumbled as she pinned my hair up and started working on the back

"I am still; you just keep jerking my head." I argued. Mikado flicked the back of my neck as hard as possible then went back to spraying my hair. Once she was done spraying down my hair and helped me do my makeup.

"You look scary hot." Mikado complimented. I struck a pose and she took a picture for social media.

"Ok now I'll do your cute little minion makeup." I mused. Mikado sat still in the chair while I accentuated her makeup.

"Now you look hot." I admitted.

"Group picture!" She shouted pulling me close as she posed for a picture. After about five pictures she grabbed her keys and rushed me out the door.

"We gotta pick up Tuna and Cro; Gamzee and Kurloz are gonna meet us there." Mikado rushed.

"Say, doll, you're looking especially hot today." Cro flirted.

"Um, tha-"

"She's taken." Mikado interrupted.

"What?" everyone asked looking at me confused.

"She and Kurloz are obviously a thing." Mika stated matter-of -factly.

"Speak of the devil." Mituna laughed. I hid behind Cro and Tuna and watched the other two boys walk towards us. Gamzee was the Joker, but sexy; don't get me wrong I love Loz, but hot damn total lady boner. Then there was Kurloz, hot damn. He decided on being Skellington Jack this Halloween and holy shit he looked in a suit.

"What is he doing here?" Kurloz asked pointing to Cronus.

"I's got a swveet surprise for ya." Cronus slurred; he stepped aside revealing me hiding behind him. I'm sure that if Kurloz didn't have a hell of a lot of face-paint on then he'd be redder than a tomato. I opened my arms for a hug and he picked me up and twirled me around.

"Ok you guys got the lovey-dovey stuff taken care of, now let's go!" Gamzee enthused.

An hour and thirty terror filled minutes later, we finally escaped the haunted house and were headed back to my place. The house was packed with witches, demons, ghouls, and goblins of all sorts. The snack table was overflowing with all sorts of treats and the music and creepy sound effects were on point. The neighborhood kids were too scared to walk up to the front door let alone the sidewalk close to my house. Me and Kurloz were hanging out while the rest of the crew was on the dancefloor mingling with the rest of the guests. Everything was good until the wicked witch of the west came in disguised as a slutty Catwoman; Nep and Equius followed after dressed and Mikey and Raph respectively.

"What the hell?" I asked looking towards the door. Kurloz followed my gaze and facepalmed.

"Mewlin, could you purrlease leave? Mew look absolutely embarrassing!" Nepeta complained.

"I look embarrassing? You're a giant fucking green frog." Meulin complained.

"Um, I hate to interrupt, but we're actually turtles." Equius stated in a very refined manner. Meulin grit her teeth then looked over to where Kurloz and I were standing. Before Meulin could do anything Mikado, Cro, and Gamzee stared her down.

"If you know what's good for you, you'd leave." Mikado threatened.

"Relax," Meulin started. "I only came to drop these dweebs off." She growled.

"Then why are you eyeballin Kurbro?" Gamzee challenged.

"Let's give her something to stare at." I signed to Kurloz. He was totally confused. I reached up and pulled him down into a kiss and he happily obliged. Meulin managed to look both disgusted and outraged and swiftly turned around. Kurloz slowly pulled away and smiled down at me.

A few hours later all the party goers headed out in an attempt to trick or treat before the night was over. Nepeta, Equius, Cro, Tuna, Mikado, Gam, Karkat, and Kurloz were spending the night for our annual horror movie marathon. Nep and Eq were huddled together in a blanket fort, Gam and KK were snuggled together in a blanket pile, Mikado sat on Tuna's lap, and I was laying on top of Kurloz on the sofa.

"So, when were you guys gonna tell us you're a thing?" Mikado asked snuggling closer to Mituna.

"Technically we're not a thing until she can fend for herself again, but yeah, shut up so we can watch the movie." Kurloz hissed.

"Why the fuck do I always agree to come to these things with you?" Karkat growled snuggling closer to Gamzee.

"This one isn't even scary Karkitty." Nep mused peeking out from the fort.

I was trying to pay attention but Kurloz was proving to be a distraction.

"Yo, watch your hands, dude." I grumbled embarrassed.

"Heh, sorry not sorry." Kurloz laughed. He pecked my cheek and brought his face closer to mine. "This was the best Halloween ever sis." Kurloz smiled kissing me gently. And then it truly was the best Halloween ever. s side the next morning. dnt all the veggies, except brocollu
