Chapter 3
(Addisons POV)
“You owe me,” I told Arianna through gritted teeth. Pushing myself off of the rough concrete.
Arianna gave me a sympathetic look, “Addie, you have nothing to worry about; look at yourself, you’re hot.” Then she patted my shoulder, “now come on were going to be late if we stand here any longer.”
Gathering up all the courage I could muster I slowly make my way towards the entrance. I was walking like an idiot trying my hardest not to fall again in these heels. Laughing at me Arianna grabbed my hand saying, “come on babe.”
After we got inside we made our way to the waitress behind the counter. The waitress put on a fake smile and said, “welcome to Bisetti’s Italian Ristorante, do you have a reservation with us?”
“Ahh yes,” Arianna said waltzing towards the counter like she owned the place, “we have a reservation under the name Hunter Daniels.”
The waitress gave a slight scowl; obviously she knew who Hunter Daniels was. She shot us death glares as she said, “right this way.”
Arianna and I didn’t follow close behind her so we could whisper, “did you see those death glares she was sending us?” I whispered to Arianna.
“Yes,” she exclaimed, “If looks could kill-“
“We’d be dead,” we said this in unison causing us to giggle.
The waiter stopped in front of our table blocking my view of my date, the only person I could see was Hunter, who looked mighty fine. I looked over to see Arianna blushing and smiling like a total fan girl. “Get a hold of yourself,” I whispered to her.
She shot me a quick glare. Upon seeing us the guys stood up and I could finally get a look at my date, hot damn! There is a God and he loves me. This guy was dreamy. He was tall with a muscular build proving he worked out. His burgundy sweater was tight to him and clung to his muscles leaving little to the imagination. His fare skin complemented his sandy blonde hair on the top of his head. After gazing at him I looked into his eyes and was met with bright green eyes. An instant blush rose to my cheeks as I realized he caught me checking him out. I quietly leaned over to Arianna, “He. Is. Cute.” I whispered, “Remind me to thank you.”
After I said that a small smirk played on my dates face, acting as if he heard me. There was no way he could have heard me though it was too loud in here.
“Ladies,” Hunter greeted us.
Arianna and I took the last few steps to our table. Hunter and my date slid out a chair waiting for us to take a seat, after we sat down they scooted us in. I shot Arianna an excited smile as soon as our dates turned around to take their seats. The tables were round so I could sit by Arianna and my date.
I wanted to stop referring to him as my date, so I had to figure out his name. “Hi,” I smiled, “I’m Addison, but pretty much everyone calls me Addie.”
He let a huge smile take over his face, “Addison. That’s a beautiful name.”
I could feel my cheeks heating up as I mumbled a thank you. “I’m Aiden, by the way.”
“Well it’s a pleasure to meet you,” I said sticking out my hand to shake.
Instead of shaking my hand, he slowly brought my hand to his lips and gave it a lingering kiss causing tingles to spiral up my arm. His lips were soft and gentle against my hand. “Believe me,” he whispered, “the pleasure’s all mine.”
