Chapter 5- Part 2

(Aiden’s POV)

As soon as Addison agreed to play I grabbed her hand in mine, and pulled her to the golf clubs. Her tiny hand was so soft and delicate in my large calloused hands. I would be super content with just holding her hand all day. Once we got to the counter I let go of her hand and grabbed her a golf club.  Upon getting it, she gave it a few swings; I got to admit she has good form.

She looked up at me smiling, “I just want you to know I’m a total pro at this; your going down,” and at that she took off running to the first hole. Damn my girl is cute.

She set her ball down and took a perfect swing. I watched in anticipation as the ball went straight into the hole. “Hole in one,” she screamed jumping in the air.

I let out a low whistle, “I think I picked a bad game for us to play; I’m going to sorely lose.”

Addison giggled, “Yah, I used to play a lot.”

I caught on to the ‘used’ she said. “You don’t play much anymore?”

Addison’s face suddenly got very sad. I wanted to wipe that frown off her face and take away her pain. “Yah, this used to be my dad’s and I thing. We would go out every Saturday and play. He… he passed away from cancer two years ago. I haven't really played for awhile... "

I instantly felt like a douche bag. I had no idea her dad died, let alone she used to go golfing with him, “Addison, I’m sorry I didn’t-“

“No,” she said cutting me off, “don’t worry about it.”

“We can go somewhere else; we don’t need to play…”

“Nonsense, it was about time I played again,” she said through a forced smile.

“Addie, really we don’t need to-“I really didn’t want to push this on her.

“Really, it’s ok. Now let’s go have fun,” she said running to the next hole.

We spent the next few hours going through all the holes here, and I loved every second of it. I could feel that my wolf had the urge to mark her, but I was still able to hold him at bay. I so badly wanted to tell her how important she is to me, but I know if I did that now I would freak her out and she would turn away from me.

“Are you hungry?” I asked as we left.

“A little,” she smirked.

“What are you in the mood for; we can go anywhere you want?”

“I don’t really care. Whatever you want is just fine with me,” she honestly told me.

“Well, if you had a choice would you want to go to a fast food place or sit down?” I asked.

“Probably fast food,” she said looking down at herself, “I’m a little bit of a mess.”

“You look just fine,” I told her, not exaggerated at all; she is perfect.

She let out a soft giggle, “sweat and all?” she asked sarcastically.

“Sweat and all,” I confirmed.  “But if you would feel more comfortable going to some fast food place then will go find one.”

“Sounds perfect,” she smiled up at me and grabbed my hand in her own.

We talked about random stuff on our way to find food. Although I feel incredibly comfortable with her, I could feel my wolf almost taking over. I want to finish the mating process so everyone knows she belongs to me. My heart already belongs to her, but I can’t tell her that yet.
