Chapter 4

(Aiden’s POV)

It took every ounce of my strength to break that kiss and walk away. I wanted so badly to bite her and mark her as mine. I already have the spot picked out; I want everyone to know she belongs to me.

“Come on lover boy,” I called out to Hunter.

Back off, I could hear Hunter mind link me.

Dude, I came here to make sure you don’t do anything stupid, now come on before you do something you’ll regret, I told him back.

Fine, I could hear him groan.

“Goodnight Love,” I heard Hunter whisper to Arianna before he kissed her on the forehead and walked towards me.

I couldn’t get my mind of this girl, she is in every sense the girl of my dreams. I knew it was too soon, but I had to talk to her, I grabbed out my phone until I found Addison’s name. She put a small heart next to her name in my contacts. My heart started beating profusely I had to grip the seat trying my hardest not to run back to her. I quickly sent her a text, I had a great time with you tonight, can’t wait to do it again. xo –Aiden.

In seconds she replied,  I did too, thanks again. X- Addison.

My heart jumped in excitement at seeing the ‘X’ she put before her name, if I didn’t stop talking to her now I wouldn’t be able to control myself and I would go back to her. So I quickly bid my farewell by telling her, Sweet dreams, Addison. –Aiden.

I looked over at Hunter to see a goofy grin on his face, “so you two hit it off…” I joked referring to their slight make out session.

His grin got bigger, “Oh Aiden, I don’t know what to do with myself. I want to go back to her so bad I can hardly control myself.”

“You too?” I laughed.

A look of remembrance crossed his face, “So Addison’s your mate, huh?”

I could feel a big grin pulling at the sides of my face, “Yes, she’s perfect. It was just like you said, all I could smell was roses, and when she walked in and I saw her face the scent only increased. It was love at first sight.”

“I’m really happy for you,” he said patting me on the back, “so we have our future Luna?”

The thought of making Addison my Luna sent chills running through me. I wanted nothing more than to make her mine, but like Hunter was saying I need to take this slow because I can’t scare her off. If she rejects me I have no idea what I would do. With her being human she doesn’t feel like I’m her mate, so she needs to actually fall in love with me. I already know I'm in love with her.

“So, are you going to see her again soon?” I asked him.

“Tomorrow,” he smiled.

A pang of jealousy washed through me as I realized how quickly he got to see his mate, I decided then and there I was going to see Addison tomorrow no matter what it takes.

It was 5:30 in the morning and I’ve been awake for hours. I couldn’t sleep knowing that Addie was away from me. I so badly wanted her to know who I was and what she was to me, but it was simply too soon.  While humans can’t know of werewolves, they only get to know if they are your mate. But, like I said human mates are a huge rarity. It was ironic that both Hunter and I had found human mates, yet alone having them be best friends.
