"Jisko aap date pe le gaye the wo Miss Ishita Vishwanathan Iyer thi. Jo aapko date pe le jarahi hai wo Mrs. Ishita Raman Bhalla hai"

Did she just say that!?

After having said that she definitely deserves to hear what she has been waiting for.

"Reshmi zulfon ke peeche

Apne chehre ko chupana

Saanson ko thaam kar

Yun nazron ko jhukana

Kasam Khuda ki qayamat lage

Is tarah se tera ye sharmana

Apne danton ke beech

Komal hont to chabaye

Ungliyon ko apni

Pallu me uljhaye

Tareef pe apni yun

Chup chup kar muskarana

Kasam Khuda ki qayamat lage

Is tarah se tera ye sharmana

Maathe pe saji sindhoor

Khanakti choodon ki aahat

Tere gale ko choomti mangalsutr

Sab kahein tu meri hai amanat

Inhi me umrbhar basna chahe

Man pagal mera hoke deewana

Kasam Khuda ki qayamat lage

Is tarah se tera ye sharmana"

(Author's note: Now this is making me nervous. Trying my hands on shayri after a long time. Hope this sounds good!)

Ishita's POV

He had asked me what was the reason for the sudden change in my behaviour which had me thinking for the reason too that obviously was unknown to me as well.

Having nothing to answer, my eyes traveled to my fingers fidgeting with the edge of my dupatta.

The dangling pendant and the crinkling chooda met my gaze half-way through its journey and that gave me the answer for the change in me.

Yes! Now I am not the person he met before. I am a married woman and my association with him is the reason for the change in me.

On discovering that, I did not delay in voicing it out to him but without looking into his eyes.

Not because I was hesitant to meet his eye but I was too shy to do that.

"Reshmi zulfon ke peeche

Apne chehre ko chupana"

My breath hitched on hearing him say that in the huskiest voice ever

"Saanson ko thaam kar

Yun nazron ko jhukana"

I blushed harder and harder on listening that

"Kasam Khuda ki qayamat lage

Is tarah se tera ye sharmana"

I bit my lower lip to control a smile that was beginning to appear on my face

"Apne danton ke beech

Komal hont to chabaye"

And with that line the pace of fidgeting got faster

"Ungliyon ko apni

Pallu me uljhaye"

That said he was noticing every move of mine and singing praises for it.

Praises! Finally I got what I wanted to hear and that made me smile but I quickly hid it.

"Tareef pe apni yun

Chup chup kar muskarana"

Ayyo Ishu! There's no rescue.

Can BLUSHING be a cause for death?

If the answer is yes, then there's no wonder you will me dead at the end of his shayri

"Kasam Khuda ki qayamat lage

Is tarah se tera ye sharmana"

"Maathe pe saji sindhoor

Khanakti choodon ki aahat

Tere gale ko choomti mangalsutr

Sab kahein tu meri hai amanat"

I could not help but smile at his over-possessiveness.

"Inhi me umrbhar basna chahe

Man pagal mera hoke deewana"

Who said over-possessiveness is bad?

At this moment I am just loving it and I could die for it...

Die? I am not dead yet.

Does that mean Blushing cannot be a cause for death?

"Kasam Khuda ki qayamat lage

Is tarah se tera ye sharmana"

Patha hai meri likhi hui line nahi, mai shayar thodi na hun. Par by God Bhai tujhe dekhenge na teri tareef me poori book likh dalenge

I remembered Simmi say this morning.

Book to nahi par shayri to zaroor likh di hai tumhare bhai ne My telepathic conversation continued with Simmi

"Feeling better?" I jerked at his voice and found his face close to mine

"Haan?" I asked pre-occupied

"I mean ab to tumhari nervousness khatam hojani chahiye. Tareef to maine kar di hai" he said with a smirk

"Raavan Kumar!" I hissed "Sirf isliye tareef ki thi ke meri nervousness khatam ho?" I asked him accusingly

"Nahi" he said with a smile

I smiled in return expecting a sweet romantic reply

"Isliye ki thi kyunki mai apna keemti date raste kinare is gadi me nahi bitana chahta"

Did he just say that!?
