I took Frank back to my house after that.
I carried his sleeping body in my arms. His rosy cheeks were tear stained and cold from how cold it was out here.
I got to the front door and managed to unlock and open it.
I went to the bedroom and laid Frank down, taking off his jacket and shoes.
"Goodnight, baby boy." I kissed his forehead.

I woke up a little early than normal. I need to find a job. I want Frank to stay here.
I went to my computer and went to every webpage I could think of to find a job.
I heard the bedroom door creek open and light footsteps pat the hard wood floor. I felt two arms come over my shoulders and down my chest. He leaned his head on to my shoulder and moaned.
"Morning, love."
"Can you take a break?" He asked. "I want to spend time with you before I leave."
"Baby, I need to do this so you can stay here with me."
I saw his face fall.
Shit. I know I said what Frank didn't want to hear.
"O-Okay.." He began to walk away with his head down.
"Frankie, come back. That's not what I meant to say."
"No, you need to do that. I get it."
"Baby-"
He walked into the bedroom, closing the door. I got up from my desk, running after him.
I knocked on the door. "Frankie, baby, I'm sorry. I can take a break."
I heard him mumble a "go away".
I walked into the room seeing him laying on the bed, on his side, his hands covering his face. He was crying.
I sat down next to him. "I made you cry. Darling, I didn't mean to. I was just so focused on putting these applications in so you wouldn't have to leave. You know I want you to stay here." I put my hand under his chin, moving his head to look at me. He dropped his hands to his aides. "And you know what I have to do for that to happen." I finished.
"I want to spend time with you.."
"I know, and I promise we will have all the time in the world when you move in."
He looked away.
"I promise you, Frank. All my attention will be on you. But I need to get a job before any of that can happen. Okay?"
He nodded.
"Why don't you get dressed? I'll make some breakfast for you, and when you're done, I'll hold you tight and tell you how much I love you. Would you like that?"
He hesitated then nodded. I kissed his nose and left the room, going to the kitchen and making him some toast, seeing as how that's all I had.
When Frank came out of the bedroom, he was dressed in my favorite pair of skinny jeans he owned and one of my old shirts.
"I made you some toast, it's on the table."
"Thank you."
He went to eat.
I could feel his eyes on me the whole time he ate. I could see his reflection through the computer screen. If I could just convince my mother to let me take him now instead of having him wait, he'd be so much happier.
After he ate, I took a break from the applications. I sat on the couch and pulled him down to have him lay in my lap. I wrapped an arm around him as my other hand traced his jawline. We never lost eye contact.
"You are so perfect, Frankie."
He pulled me down to him, allowing our lips to brush against each other. I pecked his lips then pulled back slightly. He pulled me back down, kissing me so passionately. He placed his hands on my cheeks as my hand was on his and my other arm still held him tightly.
I pulled away slowly, looking down at him as his eyes fluttered open.
"I love you." He said, looking into my eyes.
I leaned back down, kissing him again. "I love you, too."
