*Gerard's P.O.V.*

Frank has been living with me for about, almost 5 months now. He's really opened up to me in so many ways. But my poor baby was now sick.

I woke up in the middle of the night to his coughing fit. I rubbed his back. He gasped for air between each cough. At some point he finally stopped and I pulled him in.

"You okay?"

He nodded.

"Do you need some water?"

He made a little noise.

"Come on," I picked him up.

He wrapped his legs around my waist, his arms around my neck. I took him to the kitchen and sat him down on the counter. I went through the medicine cabinet, trying to find something that would help him but -of course- there was nothing.

"Shit." I mumbled under my breath. I looked over at Frank who was looking down and fidgeting with his fingers. I hit my hand on the counter and slammed the cabinet shut, making Frank jump.

He looked up at me. "Gee, it's not your fault."

"I thought I had something for you."

"It's okay. Gerard, I've been sick before. It'll just take some time."

"I want to take care of you."

"And you are. I'll be okay." He pulled me closer and touching my face.

There was something about Frank that always makes me feel better no matter what the case may be. He instantly knows how to make me stay calm. I don't know how he does it or if he even knows he does it, but I like when he does.

I looked him in his eyes. "Are you sure? I could get you some medicine at the convenient store. Or I could-"

"Gerard, you need to listen to me," He grabbed my shoulders. "I won't be sick for that long without medicine. I don't want it."

"But what if it gets bad and you need to?"

He sighed. "I'll be fine."

I sighed in defeat. He was fine. He knows what's good for him.

"I'm sorry, Frank." I leaned against the counter, in between his legs, placing my hands on his face. "I just want what's best for you."

"It's okay. I love you." He leaned his head on my shoulder.

"I love you too, Frankie."

"Gerard?"

"Yes, baby?"

"Will you ever get tired of me? You constantly teaching me how to do things?"

"No. Baby, no. Why would you ask that?"

"I- I feel like I .... just- I take up all your time and I- I don't know..."

"Frank, I could never get tired of having you around. I love teaching you new things. And if you think that I'm going to get tired with you at any point in time, then tell yourself 'Gerard loves me and he will always'."

He nodded.

"But I wanna hear you say it."

He looked up at me.

"Come on, babydoll. Say it."

"G-Gerard loves me and he will al-always."

"Louder."

"Gerard loves me and he will always!"

"Louder! Scream it for me, baby!"

"GERARD LOVES ME AND HE WILL ALWAYS!"

I smiled at him. "Good boy, Frankie." I leaned in to kiss him, but he stopped me before my lips touched his.

"Gee, I'm sick. I don't want to get you sick too."

"One kiss won't kill me, Frankie."

"No, no, no. I don't want to risk it."

"How about your cheek? Would that be okay?"

He smiled and nodded.

I leaned in and kissed his cheek. "Perfect."

"Thank you, Gerard."

"You don't need to thank me, love." I kissed his cheek again. "I will always love you, okay? No matter what happens."

He wrapped his arms around my neck. "Can we go cuddle in bed?"

"Of course we can."

I picked him up again and took him to the bedroom after giving him a water bottle.

I laid him down then got in on the other side, pushing myself against him and pulling him closer to my chest.

"There's something about you that always seems to make me very possessive over you." I spoke.

"You found me. You know that rhyme: Finders, keepers; Losers, Weepers. It's true. You found me, you get to keep me."

I smiled then pulled him closer. "How did I get so lucky? Anyone could have found you and took you away. But you're mine. I found you, I saved you, I kept you safe."

"Guess I'm your good luck charm."

"I guess so." I kissed the top of his head.

"Gerard, I- I want to say something.." He paused.

"Go ahead."

He looked away from me. "No... Never mind.."

I placed my hand around his chin, making him took at me. "Frank, I don't want you to be afraid. Okay? I want you to know you can say anything to me. I won't judge you or hurt you. Okay?"

He nodded.

"So what's on your mind?"

He leaned closer to me, whispering in my ear what he wanted to say. And let me tell you, what he wanted was something I never thought he'd be into...
