I woke up the next morning, Frank was still asleep. After last night, I think a shower would do us good...or maybe a bath.

I got up and walked to the bathroom, turning on the water and filling up the tub.

"Let's add some bubbles in here - what the hell."

Once the bath was ready to go, it was time to wake up Frank.

I crawled back into bed, laying next to him. I wrapped my arm around his waist and kissed his neck. "Frankie baby," I kissed his neck again. "Wake up, love." And again.

He let out a sigh but didn't bother to open his eyes.

"Come on, little one. I have a nice bath waiting for us." I kept kissing his neck.

He allowed his eyes to open after he rubbed the sleep out of them.

"It'll feel really nice after last night." I kissed his lips.

He hummed. "Will it?"

I smiled and sat up. "Come on, Frankie." I pulled the blanket off of his still naked body, "It's time to get up."

I hopped off the bed and walked back to the bathroom. I got into the tub and relaxed.

"Frank, get in here! It feels amazing!"

I heard groaning from across the hall. I chuckled to myself. Frank appeared in the doorway a few seconds later.

"You can sleep after your bath, baby."

"I don't know - will you let me?" He said sarcastically as he got in.

I smirked and pulled him on top of me. He stopped himself from falling forward by placing his hands on the side of the tub. I traced his jawline with my finger, looking him in the eyes and admiring every little detail of his face.

"I remember when I first laid eyes on you, Frank. It was like love at first sight. I knew from the moment I first saw you cry, I was going to be all that you needed. You just needed a little love, Frankie. You were never so broken that no one could fix you. You just never had anyone to fix you." He wrapped his arms around me, hugging me. "You're alright, my love." I kissed his cheek.

We stayed like that for a few minutes before he pulled away and said, "I want to help you too, Gerard."

I smiled then kissed his forehead. "You already are."

Frank and I just bummed around the house today. Sweatpants And Hoodies Day is what we called it. I mean, it was raining, Frank didn't want to go out, and I had no where to be, so why not stay in?

I sat on the couch hearing Frank going through things in the bedroom.

"Frank?" I called.

"What?"

"What are you doing?"

He came walking down the hall with the guitar I had bought him when he first moved in. "You still have this?"

I nodded. "Do you still remember what I taught you?"

"I think so..."

"Come here, I'll show you again." I moved to the floor and patted the space between my legs for him to sit.

I wrapped my arms around him and the guitar, showing and playing a few cords for him. "Remember those ones?" I asked.

He nodded, looking back at me with a smile, then down at the guitar.

"Alright, now you try."

He put his fingers where they needed to be and strummed the cords.

"Good! Keep playing that."

He played and I began to sing something I wrote down once that I titled Interlude

"Saints protect her now
Come angels of the lord,
Come angels of unknown." I finished.

He turned to look at me, a surprised look on his face. "I missed that voice."

"Yeah? Then I'll save it for you," I pulled him closer, placing a kiss on his cheek, "And only you."

*Frank's P.O.V.*

Gerard and I were cuddled on the couch. It was late and he was asleep on top of me. I played with his red hair, twirling it in between my fingers.

"I love you, Gerard." I kissed his forehead.

I really do love him and I really want to help him out like he does with me. He said I do help him but I don't know how. I'm just here in his life. I don't do anything.... Maybe I'm missing something? Maybe Gerard wants me to figure that out for myself?

Anyway, I love him. And that's all.

But right now, with him right on top of me, asleep, he looked so beautiful. Gee is already such a beautiful person but right now he was perfect. I started to close my eyes and before I knew it, I was asleep too.

I went to the kitchen, grabbing something to eat. You would think that because they found their child again they'd feed me and care for me like they should've. But they don't. He drinks, she smokes, they were both one huge disaster!

"Get out of the kitchen, boy!" He yelled, throwing everything he could find at me.

"Please, I - I'm so hungry.." I mumbled.

"I said 'Get out'!" He threw the bottle at me then came over to me, grabbing me and wrapping his fingers around my throat.

I couldn't speak or breath. I let out a pained, weak, pathetic whimper. Everything was going black.

"Let him go." I heard a familiar voice say sternly.

I was dropped to the floor and also kicked in the process. It hurt but I was lucky to be breathing.

"Frank, are you alright?" The voice had gotten closer to me and I felt a hand on my back.

I looked up to see Gerard.

"Gerard?"

"Shh, everything's okay now. You're perfectly alright."

"Frankie?" I felt a hand cup my face.

I whined as I opened my eyes.

"Darling, let's go to the bedroom."

We got up then went to the bedroom. We were cuddled in bed when he decided to speak.

"You were dreaming."

"Yeah?"

"You let out a pained, weak whimper. I thought I hurt you or something."

"Oh - no, it wasn't you. I was just dreaming."

"What was it about?"

I took a little bit to answer so I could find a way not to make him worry. "You. You saved me."
