Chap 9- "Lo'?" Rick said sleepily.
"Ricky it's me." The mayor said.
"Oh hey Bob." He yawned.
"I just heard back from the Mayor of Jersey." He said.
Rick sat up careful not to wake up Kate.
He walked out of the bedroom and sat on the couch. "And?" He asked.
"He said he'll arrange for Molly to be transferred to a New York Adoption center and then it's all you guys from there." He said and Rick had a huge smile.
"Bob I can't thank you enough!" He said.
"Anytime Ricky." He said and hung up.
Rick walked back into the room and smiled.
He would surprise Kate in the morning.

Kate yawned and opened her eyes, she smiled when she saw Rick on his Phone texting someone.
"Hey." She said sleepily.
"Hey." He responded.
"I felt you leave the bed yesterday." She said and Rick's smile grew.
"I gotta a really important call." He said.
"From who?" She asked.
"bob." He said and Kate's mouth smiled.
"And?!"
"And... The Jersey Mayor is transferring Molly over here to NY and we must take care of the rest." He said and Kate squealed.
She hugged Rick and he laughed, "We finally get our little girl." She said and Rick nodded.
"I'm so sorry babe." Kate said still feeling guilty.
"I never should have given our baby up." She said in tears.
Rick sighed and hugged her.
"It's in the past Kate, we need to move forward." He said gently and she nodded.
"Come on, let's get out daughter." He said.
