Chap 16-
Kate walked over Will, into Rick's arms.
She breathed in his scent and took a deep breath.
She felt his heartbeat, it was pumping faster than usual.
"You okay?" He asked.
She nodded and took a deep breath.
Will stood up and smoothed out his suit.
"Is this him?" He spat out.
Kate glared at him. "For once you're not wrong." She said and he growled.
"I should give you a black eye." he said pointing at Kate and Rick stepped towards him.
"Threaten her again and you'll be in a morgue." Rick said and Will snorted.
He fixed his suit and stared at Kate.
He walked passed them and out the door.
Kate pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed. "I'm sorry babe." She said.
Rick half smiled and shook his head.
"Not your fault." He said.
Kate bit her lip and closed the door.
"Not that I'm not grateful but what are you doing here?" She asked.
He sat down in one of the chair and took something out of his pocket.
"You forgot your phone." He said.
Kate gasped, "Oh gosh thank you." She said and took the phone.
He smiled and noticed how she was still shaken up.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go out tonight?" He said and he raised an eyebrow.
"Mr.Castle are you asking me out on a date?" She teased.
Rick wiggled his eyebrows and stood up.
"Why Mrs. Castle I do believe I am." He teased back.
She giggled and crossed her legs under her desk.
