Where is that girl??.

Asami peeked into the room. Nope. Not here.

"It's 3 in the morning", Asami said outloud. "Where is she??".

Asami had woken to an empty bed. Korra was nowhere to be found in the temple. She had been looking for 10 minutes and still couldn't find her.
Asami sighed as she made her way downstairs. She could only think of one other place Korra could be.

Outside. Asami walked through the living room and towards the back door. Sliding it open, she looked around. She suddenly caught sight of light.

Asami turned and looked at where the training area would be. Sure enough she saw bursts of fire in the darkness. Korra. Asami walked towards the training area.

Why was Korra up at this hour??. That concerned her. Asami arrived at the training area. She saw Korra. The young avatar was beating up a dummy. She had on her training clothes. Sweat pants and a training bra. By the fire light, Asami could see beads of sweat on Korra's tan skin.

"Korra!!", she called.

Korra stopped. She turned and looked at her.

"Asami", she said in surprise. "What are you doing here??".

Asami crossed her arms ad walked over to her.

"I'm actually here to ask you the same thing", she said, a worried look on her face. "What are you doing up??. You should be in bed".

Korra sighed. She turned around.

"I'm fine. Just practicing", Korra said.

Asami dropped her arms. "How long have you been out here??", she asked. "I thought you'd be in bed??. You didn't come to bad last night??. Don't tell me you've been here all night".

Korra didn't answer. She just started punching and kicking at the dummy. Asami's question was answered. Yes, she had.

Asami was beginning to worry.

"Go back to sleep", Korra said over her right shoulder. "I'll be there in a little bit".

Asami sighed. She knew the other teen wouldn't give in to coming with her.

"Fine", she said. "Just promise me you won't overdo your training. I know how you've been stressed out lately with all the crime and bad guys you've faced".

Korra stopped moving for a moment. Asami noticed the way her built arms slouched a smidge.

"It's not so bad. You get use to the stress", Korra said quietly. "Get some sleep Asami".

She went back to sparring. Asami wordlessly turned around. She walked a few feet before stopping.

"It's love you", she called over her shoulder. She heard Korra stop once more. It was quiet.

"I love you more".

Asami smiled. She walked back to the house. She stood at the door, watching her lover with worry. Korra had been training extra hours lately. It worried Asami how she wouldn't take a break and tire herself out badly that she ended up straining a muscle or two.

Asami knew Korra's job of being the avatar was stressful. Alot of fighting. Negotiating. Bad guys. Good guys. Can't tell which is which. Sometimes it got so bad that Korra had mental a breakdown or two. Of coarse Asami was never allowed to see her. Korra wouldn't let anyone see her in her weak moments. She preferred to be alone.

Asami sighed. She turned and walked away. She hoped Korra would come to bed.

Asami groaned. The sunlight lit up the room. Asami rubbed her eyes. She opened then. She noticed something right away. Korra wasn't there.
Asami slowly sat up, sleep weighing her eyes down. The heiress ran her pale fingers through her hair with a sigh.
