Korra whined quietly as she sat up. The teen sighed and rubbed her eyes.
"Why is it so cold??".
Her eyes widened. No. It didn't. Korra threw the covers off and hopped out of bed. She quickly ran over to window and pulled the curtains aside. She gasped, a smile on her face. Snow.
Korra pulled up the huge window. She leaned out and rested her bare arms on the cold window sill. She smiled.
She loved snow. It was the best thing in the world. Korra had grown up in Alaska and so when she moved to Republic City, she had been very happy to know that it snowed there as well.
Korra giggled as a snowflakes fell on her face. She sighed content. Suddenly she felt arms snake around her waist.
She turned and looked back. She saw a tired looking Asami."What are you doing with the open, huh??", Asami asked.
Korra smiled brightly.
"It's snowed, Asami. Look!!".
Asami looked around. It did.
"Well. That's exciting. Now, babe", she said. "It's seven in the morning. Come back to bed".
Korra pouted. "But I wanna look at the snow".
"You can't have the window open, babe", Asami replied.
Korra turned and looked at her. She crossed her arms. Asami placed a hand on her hip, staring right back. Korra was glaring at her, challenging her. But it too cute to take seriously.
Asami smirked. She reached a hand out and poked Korra's nose.
"You're cute", she said. "But still no".
Asami turned and walked back to the bed.
"Now go back to sleep".
Korra sighed. She walked over to the bed and stood there, stating at the sheets. Asami sat down and looked at her girlfriend. She watched Korra, waiting to see what she would do.
Korra fell foward and face planted into the blanket. She said something but it was muffled. Korra then lifted her head and looked at Asami.
"I'm tired", she said.
Asami rolled her eyes. She got under the covers.
"Then go to sleep", she said. "We'll go play in the snow later on. Now stop being a child and fall asleep or I'll knock you out".
Korra laughed. "You knock me out??. Yeah right. We'd be evenly matched".
Asami rolled her eyes.
"Shut up and go to sleep", she ordered, laying down.
She closed her eyes, getting comfortable. Asami sighed.
"But I still can't wait!!".
Asami opened her eyes. Korra was sitting up, beaming with joy. Asami sighed. Korra laid down, facing up.
"I mean, it snowed", Korra said. "That's the best thing in the world. You know how much I love snow. I love everything about. How it looks like a painting or something. I love how snow looks at nice".
Korra sighed. "It's beautiful. It's just the lighting of the moon and the white with the dark blue of the night??. Hey, why is it not as dark on snowy nights than on regular nights??. On regular nights, the sky is black and all starry. But with snow, the sky is all cloudy and dark blue. That doesn't make sense. It's still night time. It should be dark. It-".
Korra was cut off by a pillow on her face. Asami groaned.
"Shut up".
Korra pushed her off. She took a breath.
