The next day, the group went to the next performance. Mai told Asami to come along, which Asami happily obeyed to. She, like Korra, did whatever her daughter directly told her to do. Also, a few looks from her friends that said they'd kill her if she didn't agree to come with them, sealed the deal.
Asami, like always, brought her work with her. When they sat down, Asami busied herself with her work. The woman was oblivious to the lights turning off and the music at first. A sudden tap brought her back into the real world.
She looked up at her left to see Mai looking at her.
"Can you at least pay attention for the first part??", Mai asked. "You'll miss mama".
Asami had forgotten. Korra was a part of the show. Asami had always liked to see Korra skating before. She was good. Of coarse she hadn't in a while since Asami became so busy for the past year with work. She didn't know how ir happened. She was suddenly shoved into this responsibility of work, work, work. Asami never had time for anything else. But Korra understood. She never complain much about her work so she must be fine with it as far as Asami knew.
Now that Asami paid attention, she looled atound. This place was huge. It was like a stadium. There must've been hundreds of people there. Looking back at the ice rink, Asami was impressed by the props. Everything was very prossional looking.
Suddenly a voice was heard on the speakers.
Welcome ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Welcome to Disney on Ice.
The crowd clapped.
Asami listened to the dude as he gave the greeting and introduction and safety steps if anything should happen like a fire or something, locate the exits yadayadayada.

The crowd cheered. When it got quiet music suddenly started playing. Asami glanced at Mai. She was sure Mai had seen this a few times already this week. But the excitement that covered her face made it hard to tell.
Mai gasped.
"Look", she whispered to Asami. "Mama".
Asami glanced up. She was surprised to see Korra skate out. She didn't think she'd see Korra this early in the show.
Korra skated out with animals following. They were real animals. Woah. Asami raised an eyebrow.
What the heck were they doing with real animals??. There were rabbits and small birds and a owl and turtle and deers surrounding her. Asami thought she was losing her mind because she could swear she saw them smiling.
Korra skated around a few seconds as the music played, a beautiful bright smile on her face. Then she and the animals glided over to the middle of the rink as the music slowed down and changed. They stopped.
Korra looked around at the group of animals, smiling, hands on her knees.
"When you meet the someone, who is meant for you", Korra said to her animal friends.
Asami could tell there was a microphone on her.
"Before two can become one there's something you must do", Korra sung, standing up straight.
"Do you pull eachother's tails??", a rabbit asked.
"Do you feed eachother seeds??", one blue bird asked.
Okay. They could talk. Asami suddenly felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned her head. Bolin looked at her. He leaned in close.
"Did we forget to mention there's magic used for this show??", he asked.
