Colin began to talk to us about where and about when we were going to film the movie. We all got handed the scripts, when they handed mine I went through my characters lines. I came up to the part where my character drives up to some other characters bungalow, Owen Grady, where I ask him about coming to inspect the paddock for the new dinosaur. I chuckle when I see Owen's lines, he makes a complete joke of the situation. That's when I remember, Chris is going to play Owen Grady. As I look up at my co-star he looks up to see my face aswell, our gazes lock in one another's.
- I'd like to present our lead roles for the movie..if you could please stand up...
Chris and I stand up and wait for him to present us in front of the entire crew and cast.
- Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt.
Everyone around begins to clap as we sit back down.
We read the first few scenes of the movie and we end when we get to the bungalow scene.
- Okay, let's take a break before finishing up the scene. You can all get refreshments down the hall, we'll be back in here in an hour and half.
I get up from the chair and tell Judy I'll catch up with her. I walk over to where I left my bag, I gather everything up and put it in. I decide to leave my bag and only talk my phone. As I turn around nearly everyone has left including Colin, Chris was standing by the door.
- You aren't going?, I ask him
- I was waiting for you. So that we could go together. He answers. That's so sweet of him.
- Ok! Thank you. Shall we go?
He nods and we walk down the hall together. I notice that we make another turn and head for the door.
- We aren't meeting everyone?
- No don't worry I told colin that we were going to have lunch somewhere else.
- But we need to be back in about an hour.
- Don't worry we'll make it.
I smile and follow him to his car.
He opens the door for me and I slip into the passenger seat, he gets in after me. I put on my seatbelt and set my bag in the back seat.
He looks at me and turns on the car.
- Ready? – he asks
- Yep – I answer.
He smiles and begins to drive. My phone rings in my bag and I reach over to get it.
- Sorry Chris.
- No don't worry.
I answer the phone.
- Hello? Seth?
- Bryce, where are you? We need to talk now.
- I can't I'm in a meeting for Jurassic world and on my way to have lunch with my costar.
- With who?- he begins to raise his voice.
- A friend of mine. Why do you care? I'm not the one who cheated? – I realise I said it out loud and I look over at Chris who looks as though he is minding his own business.
- Bryce what the fuck is wrong with you? I've already apologised and—
- I have to go. – I begin to tear up. Sh!t. Not infront of Chris. I hope he didn't see me.
- I'm sorr— I say but he pulls over.
- It's okay, you don't have to apologise. – he reaches over and hugs me.
I sob into his shoulder, he doesn't let go of me.
- You know what how about we stay here a while and talk instead of going for lunch? — he still doesn't let go and I nod.
It begins to rain and we go to the back seats, I decide to tell him all about what has happened.
- don't cry. Hey, Bryce everything is going to turn out fine. – he rubs my back.
- He doesn't deserve you. – he says and it makes me feel happy.
- Thank you Chris.
- Thank you for what?
- For listening and not judging.
He rubs his hands over my head and I feel my heart tremble. We stay hugging for about 20 minutes before I fall asleep in his arms.
Chris wakes me up a few minutes later.
- We need to go, other is we'll be late. – I nod and get into the front seat. I fix my makeup and smile at him before we head off.
