Lily's POV
My fist is curled around something warm, and I snuggle closer to it. My head lays on something comfortable but it isn't my pillow. I try to roll over to the other side of the bed, but can't because of something blocking my way. Suddenly, I need to get away from it. I can't be trapped again! I try to kick and hit everything I can, before hands inclose my fists.
"Open your eyes, Lily," somebody says softly. I open my eyes to see Sam looking at me with concern showing through is eyes. My body automatically relax's as I look into is eyes. I lay back down and start to move closer to Sam. He gets the idea and releases my wrists and lays back down, with his arm around my shoulder. "You ok?"
I nod my head softly into his shoulder before drifting off into sleep.
"Look at how cute they are!!" Somebody whispers.
"I know, I can't wait till they get together!!!"
"I think that's going to be a little bit, Sky!"
"Way to ruin my fun Ryan, way to ruin it."
"What are you guys going on about now?" A new voice asks.
"My dear Sam, that is for me and Ryan to know and for you to maybe find out!" Why can't everybody shut the frig up? I just curl closer to Sam and tighten my grip on his t-shirt.
"She's so cute when she is asleep!" Sam says.
"You'd think so!" Ryan scoffs.
"Like you don't think somebody's cute?" Sam retaliates.
"Who?" Sky asks.
"Nobody..."
"Spill it Adams!" I practically yell. I open my eyes to glare at him.
"Well good morning to you Lily!" He says nervously. I throw the covers off of the bed and grab him by his wrist to drag him out into the hall. I push him against the wall and hold him there.
"Who. Do. You. Like?" I say slowly.
"Tell me who Sky is going with!" I narrow my eyes, but none the less, I tell him.
"Eli Parker, though she doesn't like him and has no clue as to why she said yes, so don't get up in her business about it or you will be six feet under. Your turn!" I say with a sweet smile.
"I like Sky, but don't tell her because I highly doubt that she likes me!" I scoff.
"You two are so oblivious!" I walk back into the room and look at Sky.
"Sorry S, I had to tell him. It was for your own good!" She looks at me and visibly gulps. "This will probably be worse than the phone call, but I did tell him to calm down if that helps," I say sheepishly.
"SKYLAR ANNA BROWN!" And so it starts. I won't go into detail, but I will tell you the end.
*30 minutes later*
"IT'S NOT YOUR JOB TO PROTECT ME ALL THE DAMN TIME!" Sky yells at him.
"I'M SORRY THAT I FEEL THE NEED TO PROTECT YOU FROM SOMETHINGS! EVEN IF THAT INCLUDES PROTECTING YOU FROM PARKER!"
"WHY DO YOU FEEL THE NEED TO PROTECT ME ALL THE TIME?"
"BECAUSE I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO DEAL WITH IT IF YOU GOT HURT AGAIN!"
"I JUST, I CAN'T DEAL WITH THIS TODAY!"
"FINE, THEN LEAVE!"
"FINE!" With that, Sky storms out. I turn to Ryan.
