Oblivious!

The New Part!

Skylar's POV

After we - Ryan, Lily, Del, Kyle, Matt - and Riley, stopped by the kitchens to get something to eat, Lils and I head up to the disappearing room. When we get there, they all look confused as to why we are at a dead end with only a painting. I run my fingers along the entrance and the painting swings wide open. As we head in, everybody heads off into different directions. Everybody but Lily and I. We're to transfixed by the new door that leads off of the main room.

"Have you-" I start.

"Nope, never seen it before!" Li finishes.

"Want to-"

"Ya, let's go!" We head straight towards the door and then through it. We spin around in circles once we get inside there. The walls are lit up with endless lights that make it look like sunlight. All of the walls are padded, but then there are these little off rooms. There not so much as little as a master bathroom without all of the regular stuff in a bathroom. There are nine total. On the walls next to the place where you walk into them, there are our names. We first head towards Riley's and when we get in there, we see shelves lined with books on talking and how to win debates, there are also many books on how to lie and trick people under pressure. The next room we walk into is Kyle's, there is a mirror as a wall and a trampoline as the floor. We then head into Anna's room and find that there are also shelves lined with books, but this time the books are about the human mind and how to penetrate it. The next room we head into is Matt's, there are light switches and when you shut them off, it is pitch black. When you turn them on, there are many different objects and objects that make noises and a clipboard with a checklist.

The next room we head into is Sam's, there we find exes all over the floor and mirrors instead of walls. In Ryan's room, it is the same as Sam's except there are no mirrors on the walls. We then walk into Lily's room and find that there are only mirrors on the wall, but on the mirrors there are pictures of different people and different things. The next room is mine and when we get in there, I laugh. In one corner, there is a soft, fuzzy looking rug. In another corner, there is a chair and around that chair are many objects that are scattered everywhere. In another corner of the room, there is mirror on the wall and around that mirror are many pictures of different things and people. In the last corner of the room, there are things that can be set to fire with a bucket of water and a fire extinguisher incase I can't bring it back in. I forgot to make note that in every room, there is a corner dedicated to the persons earth power so that they can learn to control it.

The last room is in the center, and it is the biggest. It is the size of a master bedroom and has mirrors and all kinds of animal toys. I bet that this room is where we learn how to change into our animals. We head out of the door and find that everybody else had just finished exploring.

We stay in there for the rest of the day and practice changing into our animals and all of our other stuff. At the end, we all ended up being able to change into our animals and could at least do a little bit with our other powers. Riley was able to get Matt to eat her ABC gum. Del was able to enter my mind and figure stuff out, which leaves me to right now. We are all sitting in the animal changing room in a circle and well, you'll see.

"And so, I was abused by all of my foster homes since I was around five. I've got the scars on the back to prove it." I finish telling my life story to the three people who didn't know. I look to Lily and she starts telling her story.

"Just like S, I've been abused for my whole life. Except they were my biological parents, since they had hoped for a boy and got me instead, I was there 'slave' and got punished if I didn't do something right." She takes a deep breath before continuing. "Which was pretty much all of the time, because I didn't want to be pushed around like some helpless little girl. Before I came here, I started doing more of what I was told because it became to much for me. I figured that if something good hadn't happened to me so far, then nothing good would ever happen to me. That was right before I came here." Riley, Del and Matt's eyes are wide with the story that we had just told them

"Is that why you guys don't eat that much?" Matt asks. I nod my head as Li responds.

"Ya, we were never given that much food, so the amount that we eat is way more than we usually did. So to us, it is like a Thanksgiving dinner all the time." Del nods her head in understanding.

"Speaking of dinner, I'm hungry!" Ryan states. I roll my eyes at him, but stand up anyway. I reach my hands out to Li and pull her up. We link arms and then head out of the room. As soon as all of us get into the main room, the door disappears. I head over to the wall and run my hands over where it was. I feel the door underneath my hand, but the door is just invisible. I shrug my shoulders and link my arm through Lils once more, but stop walking when the door opens. Only one other person knows about this room so it won't be good. John Hacker has once again enter the room at the most awful time in the world! Everybody stiffens and the boys go in front of us, but I just push through them.

"Brown, I see that you have shown your other friends the disappearing room then!" He sneers. I roll my eyes at him.

"Drop the act Hacker, they won't tell that you're actually a decent person to be around. And if you don't, I'm pretty sure that they will beat you up!" I say with a smirk on my face as his sneer drops. "Yes, I did, but only because the real Headmaster told us to!" This time it's his turn to roll his eyes.

"And who is the real Headmaster?"

"Headmaster Anderson!" I say as if it is obvious.

"Alright fine. I still don't trust you or your friends one hundred percent though!" I nod my head.

"What gives you the feeling that I trust you one hundred percent as well?" I ask, but don't give him time to answer as I walk past him like the boss I am. LLAMA'S AND PINEAPPLES ARE AWESOME BECAUSE THEY ARE THE BOSS! Just thought that I should get that out while I can...
