Skylar's POV
The last day at home was spent packing everything up and making sure that nothing got left behind. I did pack my mothers dress and my fathers notepad. Later in the night, mama Adams gave Riley another one of mums dresses. This dress was a bright green and it had jewels around the edges and on the waist as some kind of belt. It fits Riley more than it would me. Even though we are twins, we have completely different tastes and almost completely different personalities. The ride back to school was filled with jokes and laughing at one another. Mum smiles at us and how we can turn anything into a joke.
I step out of the car and hug mum. "Bye mum!"
"Bye sweetheart! Remember to eat and to be healthy." I nod my head in response to the statement. We all take turns hugging mum before heading into the cabin and then onto the black thingy. As we say the password to the wall and get into the hall, we here one thing that everybody is excited to hear. Well, maybe not the boys but oh well.
"There will be a ball in two days time! This is a formal dance so where dresses for girls and tuxes for boys. Try not to bring a disgrace to the school because there will be three other schools joining us. Golden Valley School for Girls, Skyline Academy, and River Valley School for Boys. Golden Valley students have traveled here from California, Skyline students have traveled here from Maine, and finally, River Valley students have traveled here from Montana," Profesor Madden finishes. Wait... where is the Headmaster and shouldn't he be making this speach? Almost as if she read my mind, Professor Madden speaks again. "The Headmaster is out for a time being, so until the time when he comes back, a new Headmaster will be filling in the position. Please welcome Headmaster Alex Morgan!" With that, a fifty year old looking man comes walking through the big doors. I automatically want to run away from him. I look at the rest of my friends and find them in a tense position. He heads up to the Headmasters chair and sits down in it. I narrow my eyes at him and cross my arms. My red stone braclet digging into my stomach. As if he feels the eyes of eight people upon him, he turns his head and stares directly at us. His eyes scanning over each of our faces and then his eyes land upon my face. His eyes widen in shock and something else before turning welcomeing and warm. Except I don't by it for a second. I narrow my eyes even more and stare at him. My fists clenching and unclenching, as I try to get control. Ryan steps closer to me and wraps his arms around me, but our eyes never leave his face as I lean into him.

3rd person POV
The hall fills up restless chatter once again, but the P8 aren't among them. They aren't even cracking a smile like they usually do. Instead, they stand there with there arms crossed and staring at the new Headmaster as if he is the worst thing in the world. Soon, the Headmaster turns his kind, warm eyes into cold eyes that nobody would want to go there. But it was just for a second, that if you blinked during it, you would miss it. Professor Madden notices the P8 staring at the new Headmaster as if they want him dead. Professor Madden thought that he was very kind and amazing man to take up this tempary post, she has no idea as to why they would be staring at him like that. She steps back up to the speaker that is in the stand and starts talking again. The room falls silent at once.
"I know that most of the girls need to go shopping and that the boys do as well, so that is why a new door like the one leading to the cabin will be opening up to get you to shops in a mall. You have the next two days off from classes! The password to open up the door is winter ball! The other schools will be arriving tomorrow and I expect all of you to be on your best behavior. That is all!" Professor Madden gets off of the stand and heads towards the new Headmaster. Suprisingly, he and the P8 are locked in some kind of stare down. Well right before Skylar breaks it and heads at of the hall with only a glance towards the rest of the P8. In that second, it looked like they had a conversation as they soon all broke their gazes with him and left. Lily was the last one to leaves, staring at the new Headmaster with shock and death clear in her narrowed eyes before Sam pulls her out of the hall.
