(Author's Note: Amy's POV will be by Love_is_Wicked...guess I forgot to mention that...whoops...)
Ashley:
I woke up the next morning feeling like Death, my mind was still reeling from yesterday. Not to mention my worry about Amy, my worry about my family.
"No use worrying about that at the minute." I murmured to myself, hopping out of bed, I passed Sam's room where the door was slightly ajar.
He and Amy were sleeping together, in each other's arms I mean. She turned over in her sleep and yawned, opening her eyes and I nodded my head in the direction of the kitchen. Amy nodded and slipped out from beneath Sam's large arms before tip-toeing over to me.
"I'm hungry, you coming?" I whispered, trying not to wake up the youngest Winchester, we walked to the kitchen where I started up the coffee feeling more at home here than the dorm room!
"Were you going to tell them about the spell?" she asked as my back was turned and I pushed my pastel blue, short hair out of my face. "Yeah, we'll have to tell them eventually." "You can tell Dean but I sure am not telling Sam." she replied with a sigh, and i flashed her a smirk. "Who knows, it could Sam that's my true love."
She gave me a glare and I held up my hands. "Because of that comment you aren't going to let me near him with a ten foot pole are you?" She laughed, and there was a snicker from the doorway, where Dean stood.
No shirt, hot damn.
"What are you two talking about with a ten foot pole?" he asked, with a crooked smile and I rolled my eyes. "Something you certainly find on anybody in the room." "I suddenly have to take a shower." Amy said darting out of the room.
His eyes followed her and raised an eyebrow. "But seriously, what were you talking about?" "How we got here ad the spell." I replied with a shrug, pouring a bit of creamer into the coffee before taking a sip of the pretty much black coffee.
He walked over and looked at me with his bright green eyes, even on the show they weren't this prominent! I though to myself, as he walked over.
"Yeah, you two still haven't told me yet what that spell was." he said, uncertainty edging on his face, and I found myself unwillingly smiling. "You don't have to worry about me, I'm a shrimp compared to you. And I'm no witch. Like I said before, we found the spell on Wikipedia. Since it had never been in real favor for us we decided to give it a shot." I said, maybe avoiding to subject for a bit of mystery.
What, I may have only had one or two relationships but i learned damn well how to flirt from them.
"You still haven't told me." he repeated, but instead of uncertainty, it was curiosity on his face. "Don't tell Sammy, or Amy that I told you but supposedly it's to find your true love."
There was a quiet little silence before a laugh escaped him, "From the way that you built up to it I thought it was going to be some curse." He walked over to the fridge and popped open a beer then grabbed another and held it out to me.
"Sorry Dean-o, I don't drink before noon." I replied sipping my coffee and he shrugged, and out of the corner of his eye he looked at me. "So who did it to you?" "Who did what?" I retorted, setting my coffee down as I crossed my arms.
This kitchen suddenly felt like it got smaller, and he looked at me, "Who broke your heart? And please don't tell me your a virgin." "A jackass last year, was cheating on me another chick. And on the other thing, it was the same douchebag." I said, clenching my hands,I hated thinking about Sean Jacob. That guy still had the nerve try and talk to me.
"Tough, sorry." he said with a shrug, he obviously had forgotten what it was like to have your heart ripped out and torn in front of your face. It still hurts, like walking on glass. Once your in one place it would still be painful but you could deal, but every time you took a new step away from it a whole new wave of unbearable pain shot through you.
"You have no idea, you just have one night stands and ditch the girl." I told him out of my own bitterness then looked at the floor. "Sorry, that was uncalled for." "Can't say you're wrong though. The last girl I even thought I could stay I ended up hurting." he explained, and all i could think of was Lisa.
Have to admit it, I shipped it.
Now being in her place was a completely different thing.
The odds of Dean being the one I was supposed to end up was sky high. The odds of him liking me back were in the negatives. He's a Winchester, hunter, saved the word many times, been to hell and back, was attractive as all get out, an ANGEL wanted to posses him, and many other things.
I was just me. Just Ashley Hasley. Screw up extraordinaire.
"What are you thinking about Ash?" he asked, using a nickname I was actually quite fond of. "Nothing, don't worry about it." I quickly said, picking up my coffee and hastily taking a sip. He rolled his eyes. "That's a lie, tell me." "You really want to know?" I asked, raising an eyebrow and he shrugged like "I've got nothing better to do."
Fan-freaking-tastic.
"Fine, I'm wondering why in God's creation he'd think you'd ever fall for a girl you just met, more specifically me." I told him, holding nothing back, and I ran a hand through my messy hair, he laughed. "Come on."
He walked to his room and I realized why when I turned around and saw Amy walking into the kitchen soon followed by Sam.
Dean opened the door to his room and I stepped in, don't be creepy. I thought, looking around and trying to absorb every detail even though I'd already seen all of them in the show.
"Listen to me real quick, okay?" he asked, setting his beer down in the trash. Then he crossed his arms at me. Couldn't tell if he was mocking me or if it was just because he did it often. Maybe both?
I nodded and he took a step closer to me. "Half those other girls, this is going to make me sound like an asshole, but they didn't mean anything. As more the falling for people quickly, have you seen Disney? A day is a lifetime. We may not get many days so we'll just have to see where those days take you. Have you seen yourself? Blue hair looks good on you." he finished, a smile crossing his face and I looked at the floor trying to hide my blush.
"Why don't we head back on in there Ms...what's your last name?" he asked, walking over. "Ashley Hasley." I replied and he smile. "Alright, how 'bout we head back in there Ms. Hasley?" "Sounds good to me." I replied as as I started to walk out I felt him wrap his arm around me.
Stay freaking calm! I yelled, trying to keep the butterflies in my stomach in their frail net.
