Ashley:

We were playing monopoly on the floor of his room. Somehow board games came up and BOOM!

Playing a game.

And I can't say my mind was only on the game, that kiss on the forehead earlier made the back of my knees go to mush. I'm surprised I was able to even keep standing. Gah!

"I call the top hat!" I exclaimed, reaching for the piece just the same time Dean did. "Well looks like the lady got dibs. Fine I'll be the train." he said with a sigh, taking his hand away from mine an I rubbed my neck. Well, that whole thing about being flirty Id really have to work on.

We were about thirty minutes into playing when I heard the door to the bunker open. "Guess the timid lovebirds are heading out." "Leaving the nest." he added with a laugh, making me smile as I took another house.

"Damn it, you're going to buy me out!" he exclaimed, tossing his money down and I laughed, "That's the plan. You don't know this but I am the champion of Monopoly in the Hasley household." He raised an eyebrow at a loss of words and I bit my lip. "Something wrong?" "Nothing wrong at all." he replied, his easy smile finding his way back onto his face as he bought a house.

After I won forty minutes later, he grinned, "Okay, Ash, time for me to teach you cards." "Crap, I'm shit at those." I muttered, and he stood up, holding out his hand to help me up. "Well I'm not so this will be revenge for the top hat." he seemed so much more relaxed than when I first met him, it was startling but at the same time I was relieved.

He pulled me out to the map table(!!!) and walked over to go grab the cards.

Absentmindedly I tugged on awkward strands of my blue hair that hung in front of my eyes.

When Sean had broken up with me I decided that little goodie two shoes me wasn't good enough anymore. Where had that me gotten me in life, I;d been depressed throughout high school an I certainly didn't want to go back into relapse. The first step to that was changing how I saw myself, I had cut my long dull hair to almost a page-boy cut and gotten it died pastel blue. It was a style that i had been  thinking about and I didn't think look half bad.

Sadly, now that it was growing out, it was hanging at awkward angles, I need to get you cut soon. I thought to myself when Dean grabbed my hand.

"Your hair looks fine." he said, and I shrugged, "I want to get it cut." "Well you should know that money obviously isn't a problem for us. When do you want to get it done?" he asked, and I stared at him. "Uh...as soon as possible?" "Well since Sammy and Amy are out I'd say that gives us a reason to go out too." he replied, standing up, abandoning the cards.

Poor cards, I'll play with you one day.

I stared down at myself and my pj's, "Um...Dean, slight problem here." I pointed down at my clothes, and he sighed. "I thought you looked fine, the short are fine. I'll give you one of mine and you can tie one of our jackets around your waist." "Who knew you could be a fashionista?" I asked with a laugh as I followed him to his room and he shrugged. "When you have to wear a suit four out of the seven days of the weeks you learn the do's and don'ts of fashion."

"Oh lord." I muttered, rolling my eyes as he dug through his drawer before tossing me two shirts. I pulled on the t-shirt and wrapped the plaid one around my waist.

"Dear God, I am the picture of hipster right now." I groaned, before walking out and Dean sighed. "They took Baby!" he said aggravated and I saw there was a run down station wagon. "Dean...?"

On the way to a hair place, Dean drove, his grip on the steering wheel making his knuckles turn white and was frowning. "Not a word of this to Sammy or I swear he won't be the one in chains." "Mhm, sure." I replied, laughing at the glowering Dean Winchester.

There was luckily a salon not too far away from the bunker and within the next two hours I walked out with a fresh cut, primped up hair cut.

"Yep, that's way better." I said, putting my hands on my hips in a very Superman-esque pose. "Whoa." Dean said, he wasn't in there with me, he was in the bar next door. I held back a laugh. "Did I just make the famous Dean Winchester speechless?" "Maybe." he replied, putting an arm around me as he led me back to the car.

Yep.

True love.

Sam and Amy could be doing the diddley-doo in the back of Baby for all I cared at that moment.
