Amy:

I wake up with a jolt as I realize that I'm not having a nightmare, which sucks cause for the first time in a very long time I am dreaming. "Whoa, you alright?" Sam asks, waking up with the same jolt. "Uh yeah, I'm fine," I respond, putting both feet on the ground and stretching with my arms above my head. "Going somewhere?" he asks, wrapping his arms around me and dragging me backwards, so I am sitting against him. I am so happy he can't see my face which is no doubt, the shade of a fire engine. "No, I think I, I actually need to go see Ash, I'll be right back" I say, gingerly standing up on my left foot and putting less weight on my right ankle. "Be careful, don't fall down any stairs," Sam laughs as I leave the room. No promises.

The lights are super bright and the hallway is a little cold so I probably look like a mess with an oversized t-shirt pulled around me and squinting. I make my way down the hall nearly blind and when I find Ashley's door, I almost knock but decide not to. Not to my surprise, when my lovely friend got home last night, she got to her room, fell into bed and fell asleep immediately. The lights are still on, she is on top of her comforter, fully clothed except for one shoe. I sigh and stand there for a second before waking her. "Hey, Ash, wake up sweetheart, you fell asleep in your shoes," I say with a slight laugh. She opens her eyes groggily and smiles at me. "Hey,:" she giggles. Oh crap, Ash doesn't giggle. "Ash, are you... are you drunk?" I ask, shaking my head. "I hope not. I was last night but, but I don't think I am right now," she giggles, fumbling with her jacket. Yes Ash, yes you are.

"You, know what, no worries. Go back to sleep," I mutter, pushing her over with zero force necessary. She sits back up and looks really pale. I groan as she throws up on my lap. "Dang it," I say, going for the bathroom so I can quickly clean off. " I'll be right back, I promise," I say as Ash groans and lies on her side. Guess this is what I'm doing today. I'm okay with taking care of her, just as long as she lets me. "Okay," she says, falling back asleep.

I go back to Sam's room to steal one of his comfortable plaid shirts, hopefully he won't mind if I borrow it. As I am quickly changing into his shirt Sam steps out of the bathroom in a towel. I squeeze my eyes shut and whip around so that my back is to him. "Is that my shirt?" he asks "Yeah, I was going to ask to borrow it because it's comfortable and I am spending my day taking care of my hungover best friend,:" I say, finishing the last three buttons. "Of course you can," he says. "I'm going to leave now," I say, hurrying out of his room and shutting the door behind me. "Thank you," I call back as I walk quickly back to Ash.

She's asleep so I turn off the light, put a walkie-talkie with the button taped down on the head board, and take the other one with me into the kitchen. I sit down on a bar stool and put my head down on the counter top. " Someone is up early," Dean comments, handing me a cup of coffee with whipped cream in it. "How'd you know?" I ask as he hands me the cinnamon. "I heard Sam's shower turn on and thought it was him, as for the coffee, I watched you yesterday. You looked like you needed a cup," he says, sitting beside me. "Yeah, thanks," I say, tucking hair behind my ear. "Is she okay?" Dean asks, watching me carefully and measuring which questions are okay. "She will be," I respond with a sleepy nod. "Please don't send us back," I say out of nowhere. "I won't. Don't worry about it," Dean says, messing up my hair and starting to make breakfast. "Do you want help?" I ask as groaning cuts through the static on my walkie-talkie. "Nope, looks like you've got your hands full," he says. I grab a piece of bacon as I slide off the stool.

I'm walking down the hallway when Sam comes out of his room. "Hey," I mutter, feeling a little embarrassed. "Hey, how's your ankle?" Sam asks, grabbing my hand and making me face him. "It feels fine except for when I turn it wrong," I say, holding his gaze until I see him blush a little. "What?" I ask, confused as all get out. "Just things. Things like you in pajama pants and my t-shirt. The color of your eyes. Your voice," Sam shrugs. I kiss him quickly with an eye roll. "You are adorable," I laugh as I continue on my way to Ash.

"How you feeling love?" I ask, sitting down beside her. "Definitely could be better," she groans.
