Ashley:
Whoa, Sam and Amy got to it faster than I would've thought. Especially after Tyler, which I promised myself I'd confront her about later to make absolute 100% sure that she was doing okay about.
While they went to their room we resumed where we left off and Dean pulled out the cards, somehow cards wasn't the thing on my mind.
His chair was inches away from mine, he was sitting facing me, but his eyes were trained on the cards that he was pulling out with ease. Casually, I scooted forward on the chair and my leg bumped his. He never said anything but a smile tugged at his mouth.
"You know you're the one who normally flirts more, right? I think you have some catching up to do against your brother." I said, not realizing I had said it until after he had looked up from shuffling the cards.
Shit.
A chuckle escaped him as he looked at me with a teasing smile. "I didn't realize it was a contest." "Well, I suppose it kind of is." I replied, mimicking his tone of voice with a smirk as I leaned forward and propped myself up on my elbow.
"I guess I do have some catching up to do, don't I?" he said, placing the cards in his lap before leaning forward and kissing me.
Let me just say, I've had some pretty damn good kisses, but this one made me feel like my my heart exploded and simultaneously dropped to my stomach. I could have died at that moment and been happy, let me just say that.
"Well, we're off to a good start but there's definitely room for improvement." I said ignoring my stomach which was doing somersaults, he smirked at me. "Really, Ash? You know, you're the first girl to tell me that?" "I figured." I replied, smirking right back.
He pulled me closer. "Somehow I get the feeling you're saying that just so I'll do more?" "Was I that transparent?" I asked, brushing my mouth over his and of course Amy and Sam chose that minute to return.
"Guys, not on the maps table." Sam said casually, setting his coat down and I rolled my eyes. "Fine." Dean laughed and let me go, but not before Amy laughed her butt off.
"One minute more and you guys may not have had your clothes on." she said, wiping a tear and I tossed the nearest object at her, it was a book and she knocked it aside. "Mhm, throw stuff all you want." she replied still laughing ever so slightly and I sighed, sinking into the chair.
