A.N: (25.5.15)
Hi hello so, this is the first fic that I've actually committed myself in to. Since I wrote this about three years ago, it only means that careless errors are evident in this book and I would like to apologize. There are a lot of twists and turns in this one but I could say that the plot line actually progressed well. Also, your comments really makes my heart swell, I may not respond to all of them but really, as cliche as this may sound, I read them all. I mean, some are really nice feed backs but of course, some just makes me cringe all over but that's whatever, I guess.
Lastly, I've been doing a lot of thinking, like maybe deleting this book because of the ample amount of cringes that it gives me but for now, read on. Thank you again for giving this a read.
"Hey I'm home!" My mom shouted as she entered the door.
"Hey, mom. How was your date with whatever his name is?"
"It was perfect. I think he's the one, Kellin!" My mom looked so happy and I couldn't help but to smile back.
"Um, mom. You've already said that a gajillion times." I said with a small chuckle.
"Well, I just think that this is really it."
"As long as you're happy, I'm happy, kay?" I said as I stood and gave her a hug.
"Thanks so much, baby!" She said as she hugged me back.
"So you ate or you want me to cook you something?"
"Nah. I already ate oatmeal a while ago. I'll just go upstairs and rest." I replied.
"Mhm. Good night!" She shouted as I jogged to my room.
"Night!"

"Kellin? Are you up?" I heard my mom as she obnoxiously knocked at my bedroom door
I rubbed my eyes as the sunlight blinded me.
"Yeah. I'll be down in a minute"
"Okay. But I have to go to work now. Breakfast is on the table! Bye,love you"
"Yup, take care." I shouted back
Ever since summer started, I've locked myself in our house. It's not like I have friends to hang out with anyway.
I got up from my bed and decided to go to my bathroom. I took a quick shower and brushed my teeth.
When my mom said that the breakfast is on the table, I expected to see a box of cereals and milk. Guess I was wrong. I was surprised to see a legit breakfast on our table!
There's bacon & eggs and a pitcher of cold orange juice.
I have to say, ever since my mom started dating the guy she's dating right now, she's always been so happy and extra..productive? I mean back then, she always comes home with pizza or take-outs from fast food restaurants but now she actually cooks for us.I think this guy is good for her. I hope. I don't want my mom to be broken again.
My dad left us when I was 8. I didn't know what was happening but I sure do remember that they argued almost every day. Sometimes, their arguments would reach the point where my dad would abuse my mother. Those scenes were torture for me. I couldn't stand to see my mother being hurt. But what could I do? I was just a little kid. If I butt in to their arguments, I am sure that my dad would hit me and it could make things even worse.
