I quickly jumped off from Kellin. I was literally shaking and my heart was pounding, like begging to get out from my chest. My brother, just saw Kellin and I getting very intimate with each other.

“I-I, um, I should um, go..” Kellin stuttered as he pushed himself off from the bed, stumbling in the process.

“No.” Mike sternly said. He slammed the door shut as he stepped inside my room. “I need an explanation.”

I noticed Kellin’s paler face. He was shaking and I know that he’s at the peak of having a panic attack.

“Just let him leave, Mike. I’ll explain everything to you.” I said as I stepped in front of Kellin, kind of like in a protecting manner.

“No one leaves until I get an explanation.” Mike said with a blank expression on his face. I sighed as I realized that there was no more point in arguing with him.

I grabbed Kellin’s hand and gave him a reassuring smile. I lead him back to the bed, gesturing him to sit as I took a deep breath, preparing to explain myself to Mike.

“So you guys are a thing. How are you two going to explain this to our parents? And may I just remind the two of you, they’re getting married in a month and a week. How would you cope with that? What will you do? Vic, you are older than Kellin and you just turned 18, you should know how to ta-“ Mike was rambling his words, I quickly raised my finger to his lips to shush him.

“Wait hold up. Uh, Mike.. You’re actually cool with this?” I asked as I pointed at me and Kellin. I was so confused. Mike mentioned a lot of statement in such a short period of time and I don’t even know what to think of anymore. I glanced at Kellin’s direction. He’s glued to his position while he stared on the floor, playing with the hem of his shirt. He looked like a lost little kid.

“Well, I don’t know, really.” Mike finally spoke, breaking the silence in the room. “I mean, I have nothing against it but what about our parents?”

That question made me think for a second. What about our parents? Kellin and I enjoyed ourselves that we forgot about the real problem of this whole situation. I slumped on my bed, massaging my forehead, thinking.

KELLIN’S POV

“I’ll leave you with that.” Mike spoke as he approached the door. “And try to keep it down, kay?”

Vic didn’t utter a single word. He stayed on his bed, lying and thinking about what Mike just asked us.

“A month and a week.. wow.” That’s all that he could say right now. What can we do? Can we change their minds in such a short period of time?

I grabbed his hand and gave it a little squeeze but he didn’t respond. He stared straight to the ceiling.

“Vic, are you okay?”

Again, no response. I was starting to get worried. I don’t want Vic to over think this whole situation. I don’t want him to carry this whole problem.

I pulled him into a sitting position and I hugged him. I wrapped my arms around his shoulder as I kissed his cheek a couple of times but he didn’t move. His arms were just hanging on his side. He didn’t even bother loosly wrapping them around my waist. Nothing. I was getting all pissed but the worry is still there. I can’t handle these anymore. So I stood up and I think what I would do is the best for the both of us.

“Bye, Vic.”  And with that, I ran towards his door. Not even bothering to look back.

“KELLIN! WAIT!” I heard him shout back as I slammed his door shut. I have to do this. This is the best for the both of us, for our families. I just have to suck it up and hopefully by the time that the marriage comes, all of us would be cool with the whole situation. I just have to keep these feelings to myself and push them away.
