I quickly looked to the direction of my bedroom door and there I saw Kellin. He was frozen, holding on to the door knob and he stared at me with his big blue eyes. I pushed Jessie off of me, making her fall on the floor.

“Ow!” I heard her grunt. I do not care though. I jumped off from my bed and started panicking.

“Kellin, this isn’t, um,” My heart picked up a fast rate as I began looking for my shirt. I then pulled it over my head as I fixed my hair a little.

Kellin started to take small shaky steps, backing away from the room.

“Kellin!” I tried to call him back but he sprinted down stairs.

Oh god why do I feel horrible.

I was panting, still staring at the same position where Kellin stood a while ago.

“So, where were we?” Jessie whispered to my ear as her arms snaked around my waist from behind.

I pushed her arms away from me as I turned to face her.

“Let’s call it a day, Jessie.” I said as I grabbed her hand bag and handed it to her. I held the door open, motioning for her go.

“What? That’s it? But Vic..” She said with a pout as she swung her arms around my neck.

I was getting a little bit pissed off. Why? That I do not actually know.

I pushed Jessie to the direction of the door, trying hard to get her out of my room. But she just doesn’t get the hint. She still insists on staying.

“Vic! Dinner’s ready!” I heard my dad called from downstairs.

Oh great. So that’s why Kellin’s here. My dad suddenly decided to bring him and his mom tonight. He didn’t even tell me.

Jessie pulled me out from my thoughts as she started playing with my hair while she’s clinging to my right arm. She just wouldn’t spaz off, wouldn’t she?

“Vi-“ My dad suddenly appeared in front of my open bedroom door. “Jessie! Haven’t seen you in a while!” He said as he grabbed Jessie’s wrist and lead her downstairs.

“Why don’t you stay here for dinner?” I heard him as they started jogging downstair.

Great.

My dad always approved of Jessie. That is because she always acted all goody infront of him when we were still dating. Mike though, hated her. I told Mike everything about Jessie and also about the time she cheated on me when we were still together.

“Vic!” I was pulled out from my thoughts. I sighed as I slowly walked downstairs.

I saw everyone in our dining area. Jessie patted the seat next to her as she saw me approaching. I rolled my eyes but there was no point in arguing since that was the last available spot. To make things even worse, I sat across Kellin. He didn’t turn his gaze to me though. He looked everywhere, except to my direction. I could really tell that he’s avoiding me. Well, duh. But why? I mean, so what if he saw me making out with a girl? Is he that innocent? He gets too startled or traumatized for witnessing such event? I shrugged as I placed food on my plate.

Kellin’s POV

Vic’s dad introduced us to this girl, Jessie. She’s the girl I saw in Vic’s room. Ugh, the thought of it makes me sick to my stomach! Thinking of it makes me want to punch myself for feeling this way. Why do I even care?

“I’m done. May I go out for a walk?” I asked as I looked at my mom.

“Sure. But be sure to be back before 10:30, we have to leave by then.”
