Back to Phil

I was rather rudely awoken by an annoying strip of sunlight creeping in between my blind and my wall. I was disorientated for a second and was quite confused as to why I couldn't move my left arm until I noticed that it was trapped beneath an extremely adorable sleeping Dan. My right arm was thrown around his neck and his left arm was across my waist and our legs were tangled together. We must have fallen asleep like this. I smiled at him and studied his face. I didn't often get to do this as he was so self conscious. His full lips (which I had to resist pressing a kiss into), his smooth cheeks and his gorgeous brown eyes which were currently hidden. As if sensing my staring he shifted and his eyes fluttered open.

"Hi," he murmured, his voice a little rough from sleep. I was really glad that he didn't shy away at being this close.

"Hi," I replied, smiling. He suddenly noticed that we were both completely naked and blushed a deep red. I leaned in and kissed his burning cheeks before kissing him deeply on the lips. He slowly relaxed and we lay there for a few more minutes until I glanced over at the time.

"Dan it's 11 am. We should probably get out of bed." he pouted and I gave in. "Well, how about you stay here and I'll go get breakfast, huh? We can be lazy today." I climbed out of bed and Dan sprawled himself across it.

"I l-like lazy," he stated. I laughed at him before slipping on a t-shirt and pair of boxers, and heading downstairs. I found some ingredients and managed to successfully whip up a bunch of pancakes. I carried them up stairs and pushed open my bedroom door with my butt. I turned to see Dan sitting in the middle of my bed, fully dressed with damp hair. The smile on my face immediately slipped as I noticed the concerned frown which adorned his. I set the pancakes down on my dresser before moving to sit next to him.

"What's wrong?" I asked quietly.

"Nothing,"

"Dan, seriously." I insisted. He just shook his head. I was getting worried and my mind wasn't helping.

Oh god. He regrets it doesn't he?

"Please?" I practically begged. He sighed, not making eye contact.

"I-I..." he trailed off and I heard him sniff quietly.

"Dan..." I sighed, swiftly drawing him into a tight hug.

"P-please don't l-leave me." he begged, his voice hoarse from unshed tears.

"Never in a million years." I replied. We just sat there for several minutes, tightly wrapped in the hug.

"I'm s-sorry, I'm b-being silly." Dan murmured finally. "It's just- just wh-when I was sh-showeri-ing I got thinking..." he trailed off.

"Hey, I'm not going anywhere. Didn't last night prove that?" I asked imploringly. He wouldn't meet my gaze though and it clicked in my head. He was afraid that that's why I'd leave. A fuck and run.

"Never in a million years." I repeated, tightening my grip on him. It was a few minutes of easing tension before Dan spoke.

"Th-the pan-cakes are getting c-cold." I smiled at him before getting up to retrieve them.

"Hey Dan," I asked, as we were digging in. "There's something I want to ask you. Something I've been hoping to do."

Twenty minutes later the empty plate was discarded and we were both suitably dressed. My camera and tripod were set up and we were positioned in frame.

"Are you ready?" I asked Dan. He nodded and took my hand. I pressed record and waited a few seconds.

"Hey guys so today there's something I want to say. It's happy, hopefully, but important. So you all know my roommate Dan," I gestured to him and he smiled and waved.

"Hey," he said, easily hiding his nerves.

"Well this video is two things. First of all it's me announcing that I'm bisexual. I have known this since I was seventeen and if you don't know what that is, it's means that a person is attracted to both men and women. Secondly it's us announcing that for the past six months, Dan and I have been more than friends." I held up our joined hands for the camera, and the internet, to see. Dan leaned over and kissed me full on the lips.

"Hey," I murmured. "You know I can't put that in there."

"I kn-know, I just w-wanted to k-kiss you." he replied, smiling. We returned to our previous positions with our hands still held up.

"I'm sorry if you don't like this." I continued.

"We love each other." Dan suddenly stated, taking me by surprise. He paused for a second, concentrating hard on not stuttering. "We won't change."

"That's all I guess, I'll try to post another video this week as this one's quite short but I'm sure you can see why we needed to make it." I said, finally letting our hands drop. "We're going to go now, and I'll see you guys very soon." I leaned up and covered the camera, completing my outro. As I sat back down I was tackled to the bad by a very enthusiastic Dan.

"We did it!" he exclaimed. I hugged him back and we met in a soft kiss. I couldn't believe Dan had said so much and managed not to stutter once, despite being so nervous, and I wholeheartedly let him know this.

"Y-yeah I guess I can be a n-normal human s-somet-times." he replied.

"Hey it's an accomplishment so don't treat it like anything else." I adamantly informed him, before kissing him once again. I sighed and looked over at the camera. "I should probably start editing it." Dan pouted as I stood.

"One more k-kiss?" he asked. How could I refuse?
