A/N I wanted to apologise again for last weeks crappy chapter. I forced myself to write when I wasn't feeling it and that was the result. Hopefully this one's a bit better. Anyway I have @TWaters10 to thank for this chapter as I was very stuck. So thanks babe! <3 Also the brown llama in the bow tie is Phil's prize.

I had a plan. A plan that I was hoping Dan would go along with. It was only about 9:30, a relatively early morning for the two of us. We'd finished breakfast and were washing up in the kitchen.

"Hey Dan?"

"Mmm."

"What would you say if I told you I had a surprise for you?" I asked casually. He stopped and turned to me, raising one eyebrow.

"What kind of s-surprise?"

"A good one." I replied, grinning mischievously. He shook his head, going back to the dishes.

"You need to stop doing this." he said. He was smiling though, I knew that he liked it really.

"So you need to be ready by about 2 because that's when the taxi comes." Dan rolled his eyes but smiled and leaned over to kiss me quickly.

"Dan the taxi's here!" I called. Dan came racing down the stairs, jacket in hand. We jumped into the taxi and headed off.

"Where are we g-going?" Dan whined softly, leaning on my shoulder.

"Wait and see." I replied, smiling at his pout. It wasn't long before we were pulling up in the large carpark. We got out and as I was paying the driver I heard Dan gasp.

"No way." he said, grinning, staring out at the expansive carnival in front of us. I snuck up behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist, leaning my head on his shoulder.

"Well, you said you'd never been to one. So I thought what better way to celebrate your first video." He turned to me, with the biggest smile I'd ever seen on his face and hugged me fiercely.

"Thank you." he whispered before pulling away.

"Let's go!" I exclaimed, grabbing his hand and dragging him towards the entrance. Thankfully, as it was a Thursday and during school, there wasn't too many people in line at the ticket booth and we got in pretty quick. Dan dragged me from ride to ride, eager to try them all. Although I wasn't pumped for the roller coasters it was worth it to see the excitement written on Dan's face. It was while in line for once such coaster when Dan was bouncing around like a small child and I grabbed him around the waist to calm him down. He leaned over to peck my lips and from behind us we heard a muttered "Faggots." I opened my mouth and was prepared to tell this guy where to shove it when I was shocked by the brown haired boy next to me.

"Fuck off." he said calmly, not even turning around. This was the first time I'd ever heard him talk to a stranger and I was stunned, not to mention very impressed, as he normally hated conflict. I waited until we were seated in our car before mentioning it.

"Wow, Dan." I whispered.

"I j-just didn't want him to ruin our t-time here." he replied. Although he was trying to act casual I could see the triumph in his eyes and in his smile. Then the harnesses came down and we shot off.

It was about seven o'clock by the time Dan was amusement ride-ed out and we decided to get some dinner. We settled on a cafe with two burgers and laughed and chatted for quite a while. It was really heart warming to see Dan so relaxed in such a public place. After we'd finished our food we decided to wander around and play some carnival games. Now this was my specialty. Dan was off getting us some drinks when I found one stall with a balloon popping game. You were given five darts and had to pop some balloons set up on the far wall. The more balloons popped, the better the prize. This wasn't actually that hard of a game. As long as you weren't a completely terrible throw you could quite easily get five balloons. It was getting more than five that was the tricky bit. I decided I could do it and paid for my darts. I got one ballon on my first and second shot, two on my third and fourth and somehow got five on my last shot.

"Eleven," the stall owner said, collecting the darts. "Okay you can pick from the second shelf down." I scanned over the range of prizes before spotting a large, stuffed llama toy in the very corner. I pointed it out and the owner moved to get it. I turned to find Dan walking back over. He handed me my drink before surveying the game.

"What did you win?" he asked. At this moment the owner handed me my prize. Dan's eyes widened as I took his drink from him and passed him the llama. He hugged it before making eye contact and hugging me.

"Thanks." he said excitedly. I smiled at him and we slowly made our way out of the park. I hailed a taxi and we climbed in. We were both pretty tired, leaning one each other in the back seat, Dan still hugging the llama.

"Thanks Phil." he murmured sleepily. I smiled.

"You're welcome." I replied softly.
