Dan's POV

I nervously smooth my black tie for the umptienth time and brushed invisible lint off of my black suit as I stare down the isle of the small church. We didn't need a big venue as neither of us have a huge family and its honestly really pretty. Tyler and Troye stand beside me in pale grey suits as we wait at the altar; our family and friends quickly filling the church. As requested, all the guys were wearing either light blue or light grey suits and all the girls were wearing either light yellow, light orange or light pink, all in accordance with our Totoro theme.

It was Phil's idea.

The kind, old Reverend stood behind us, patiently waiting. It took a long time to find one who would marry us but Father Geoff was more than happy. I was internally a mess, my mind going all the places I didn't want it to go.

What if I stumble over my words during the vows?

What if something awful happens?

What if he doesn't show up?!

I did my best to quell these thoughts but they must have shown on my face as Alfie placed his hand on my shoulder and gave me a reassuring look. Smiling gratefully at my best man I nearly jumped out of my skin as the music began playing. Turning to face the front I smiled as Kay walked in wearing a knee length lemon yellow dress, followed by Chris and PJ, also in light grey suits, before finally Phil walked in, escorted by his dad, and my gaze snagged on him. He looked incredible in his black suit and white bowtie. I felt a strange rush as he stepped up to me as I realised: I was getting married.

To Phil.

I felt myself tear up slightly but I held myself together as we faced each other, smiling. I was barely paying attention to the Reverend, too busy swimming in Phil's eyes, until I realised that it was time for the vows. I took a deep breath.

"Phillip Michael Lester, you've been here with me through so much and I'm incredibly grateful for it. I want to be here for you, no matter what, for as long as I can because you deserve it and so much more. I promise to love you forever because I already do." I was super happy that I'd managed to keep my voice steady. I could see tears in Phil's eyes and it took him a second to begin on his.

"Daniel James Howell, you are my everything. My sunshine, my logic, my sass." he paused for a moment as everyone, including me, gave a chuckle. "You ground me, you inspire me, you make me laugh and more than anything I want to make you happy because you deserve it and you're beautiful when you laugh." I blushed and felt a stray tear escape. Father Geoff said a few more things before the words I'd been waiting for;

"You may now kiss the Groom," I practically launched myself at Phil, who wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close as we kissed. We pulled apart and rested our foreheads together as our audience applauded.

"Ready?" Phil asked quietly. I looked into his eyes.

"For anything," I replied sincerely
