CALLISTA'S POV:

From that day on, Eric's been shared between Dylan and I. Some days Dylan got him for lunch and they talked about guy things, such as sports and math, and other days I got him and we talked about our days so far and played a game of favorites. We never once talked about our pasts, since we were both uncomfortable about the topic, but I was glad that I at least finally found someone who had an equally bad life before.

It had only been half a week since Eric and I had rekindled our friendship and already I was beginning to get those stupid feelings. They arose whenever I was alone and missing his company. We only had one period together and that was lunch, and for the rest of the day before and after those thirty minutes we were able to see each other, I spent trying to control my fantasies and emotions. I couldn't let myself get too carried away, even after everything was alright again.

I didn't want any complications between us. I liked what we had now. That was enough for me. But...but, it wasn't.

I wanted more from Eric and there was no denying the feelings that were only getting deeper with every soft touch, every sweet whisper, every eye-lock, and every tender secret that was shared between us.

There was no one I could talk to these feelings about. Sure, Niya and I were friends again, as well, and I had forgiven her for everything, but I wasn't exactly ready to trust her with anymore secrets. If she found out the things I've felt and thought about Eric suddenly, she'd have tried to help me out once again and just repeat the same mistakes as before.

So, I had to keep them a secret, but never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that those feelings and thoughts and wants and needs could ever be returned.

DYLAN'S POV:

Everything was alright between Eric and Callista again and things were going along well. We divided up the days that Eric would spend lunch between the two of us. Since, I had all the same classes with Eric, Callista got to have lunch with him three days out of five and I got him the remaining two days.

But, just because Callista and Eric were friends again didn't mean that anything between Callista and I had changed.

There were, however, a lot of things changing between Eric and Callista. Callista was becoming less shy and more vibrant. She was a real talker, once you got to know her, and due to Eric, I got to know her very well. He talked about her non stop. All her likes and dislikes had become second nature to the both of us and everyday I learned more about Callista Brown than I did in most of my classes.

Eric was changing in a very different way, too. Anyone could tell he was becoming oddly obsessed with Callista. There were plenty of girls he could've done the same with it, but no, it was Callista Ashley Brown for Eric, and there was no other that could change his mind.

But, there was something else besides friendliness between those two. Hidden beneath their talks, laughter, and jokes, there was something more. I wasn't too aware of it in the beginning and whatever little hints I was given, I ignored.

That something more was revealed almost two weeks after Eric and Callista were friends again and it was nothing I could've ever guessed.

We had been dismissed from school ten minutes ago and Eric and I were just about to head on home with Sam and Dave, but he was walking awfully slow and looked very anxious about something. When I asked him about it, he said it was nothing, but he didn't stop looking behind his shoulder and being all jumpy.

At point, when we were just inches from the bus station where the bus was idling, he just completely stopped. Sam and Dave had already gotten on, but I walked back over to Eric and waved my hand in front of his face.
