Hey guys here's the next chapter!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Kiara's point of view)

That was so close last night, he could have caught me! Now what do I do? He probably told people about me and they will be curious and hopefully won't try and find me. I know what I will do, I will just keep an eye out and make sure no ones around. Yeah... That sounds good...

Sadly, I think that's going to be a problem. I thought with a sigh as I saw Gaara walking along the path, looking around carefully. Almost like he's searching the woods for me. Hahaah you won't find me Gaara... I hope.

I felt something grab my right ankle and my head shot down so I could see what is going on.... sand. Crap, I spoke too soon. I defiantly underestimated him. I did a few hand signs as I heard footsteps speeding towards where I was and blew the sand off with my Fireball Jutsu.

I quickly bolted around the woods trying to loose him. I made a really confusing path by the directions I was going, but he still had managed to keep up. Luckily, being a wolf demon I love running so it shouldn't be hard to keep this up. Also that gourde of his should slow him down a bit. I need to have the upper hand here. I need to protect myself from the sand., but what can stop sand? Then it clicked,

water.

I ran as fast as I could and eventually was able to get him far enough behind. I went through a couple of bushes and came to a lake. I quietly got into the water to hide.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------(Gaara's point of view)

All of a sudden she booked it really fast ahead of me. Shoot! I can't let her get away. I ran the fastest I could, everything around me was in a blur, but I didn't care I had to do this. I soon found there was no sound of footsteps running...

I slowed down. All I could hear was the crickets singing their joyful songs and the frogs croacking. Where could she have gone? If I was going to figure this out I should try and see it from her view...

Let's see, I'm trying to get away from a guy. I would try and get to some place that his attacks would not work. In this case it's my sand she's running from... That's when I realized where she was..

In the lake.

I walked over noiselessly to the opening where the lake was. I know she thinks if I find her I would just start attacking, but that would just be stupid. I had a better plan.

I stepped back and hid behind a few bushes. That way when she comes up for air, she will think I lost her and she will come out, then I can get her in my sand...

(Kiara's Point of view)

I sat there at the bottom of the lake waiting for an attack. I kept my eyes open just in case there was an attack coming I could not hear. I watched as the moonlight broke through the waters surface a little, lighting up some parts underwater. I gazed at the fish that were swimming by, ignoring my presence because I was not a threat in their eyes. That's something I could not say about my other village no matter how much I wanted to, I would just be lieing. I shook my head to clear the thoughts away, there is nothing I can change about my past so I had to get over it. Then I noticed something else...

My lungs started to burn from lack of oxygen.

I decided to wait until I couldn't take it anymore, then I would resurface. I wanted to make no movement to catch Gaara's attention so he could find me. The burning just kept getting worse until I couldn't take it, I had to resurface.

I popped my head out of the water and took a deep breath. I looked around and the night seemed calm. I guess Gaara had left and figured I wasn't actually worth pursuing. I smiled at that thought, that means I can go back to my tree that hold my house in it and go to sleep without any disturbances.

I made my way to the side of the lake and onto the shore. I stood up and pulled my hood back up that got me even more soaked. I shook a little to try and get some water off. It was pointless, I was completely drenched. I started to walk home, but before I could take more than three steps my feet got stuck.

What? I thought and looked at the ground. There was sand wrapped around my feet... Wait! sand!? Crap... that means...

"Well looks like I finally got you..." A deep voice broke through the air as more sand went around my arms and limbs, preventing me from moving at all. I let out a deep groan,

This is what I was worried about.
