I'm so so sorry for disappearing! But I had this chapter half written in my drafts so decided to complete it during my study break so there you go! Let's all just admire that perfect Hemlinson manip (on the side) together, yes?

Eighteen: Be Alright.

Louis.

Rehearsals for the end of the term play was in full swing, with the days steadily dwindling and the final day approaching quick. But closer was the Bradford High's football team captain and co's party, which everyone who was invited (which basically was everyone besides the nerds and uncool newbies) was buzzing about it; a nice relief from the gruelling semester.

Fall was bidding its last farewells, sweeping even the remnants of the beautiful yellow and brown with it, leaving the trees lining the campus grounds cold and bare, and making everyone add more layers to their clothing.

Louis Tomlinson snuggled into his boyfriend Liam's hoodie, their gloved hands entwined as they made their way inside the school building from the parking lot.

Louis was feeling a mixture of emotions these days, ranging from slight relief to anxiety.

His mum was getting her awful migraines again, and he wanted to be around her more as the last time she had fainted and ended up in the hospital for a week.

But he knew his mum was surrounded by her collegues during her duty at the hospital so he had nothing much to worry about, as her fellow nurses had assured Louis countless times.

That fight over Liam canceling their weekend plans once again seemed ages ago, when it had only been less than a week. Liam had been the loveliest he could be, giving Louis all the attention he deserved and then some, so that was relieving his mind a little.

It was almost feeling too perfect, their relationship. And then Louis started berating himself. He never could quite understand why he never felt content with Liam. He liked Liam, he made his feel safe and Louis enjoyed his company. They were pretty steady, dating for more than a month now, but when Louis was not having doubts about their relationship, he was wondering when Liam would become himself again, back to ignoring Louis when he got too problematic, (that's how Louis felt, but he's just a pessimist so) and not the sweet puppy faced boy who Louis could seduce with a smile.

Mind you, he can still make Liam flustered, but now Liam takes revenge just as equally.

But back to their relationship. It had started as something Louis wanted to try out. And he ended up really liking a lot of things about Liam. He made Louis feel safe, and not lonely. Louis hating feeling lonely. But no matter how hard he tried, he still couldn't open up to Liam. Tell him about his father, his fears, without feeling like he was forcing them on him, and neither did Liam ever share his problems.

Louis realised with a sudden rush that he didn't even know how many siblings Liam had. And they'd been dating for a month. Sure he'd been at Liam's house, but he could have more siblings in college or something. He did mention he was the youngest.

"Earth to Louis?" Liam's voice cut in, and Louis shook his head as he noticed they were inside the building now.

"How many siblings do you have?" He blurted out.

"Um, I've two older sisters. Both in college. Why?"

"Just curious. I just-- I don't know. Its stupid really. I know we've been dating for a month only but I feel I don't know anything about you, and t-that you don't want me to share stuff with me," Louis said timidly, feeling stupid.
