Ria and Rye

Chapter 22

"Haaaa haha Ria fell!" Rye hollered as she tripped out the door on the rocky pavement.

Korra "Are you ok Ria?" She said sympathetically helping her up.

Ria "I'm fine thank you Korra."

"What's going on back here?" A mysterious voice rang behind them.

Korra "Mako! You scared us."

Mako "I didn't mean too sorry baby." He said walking up to her and kissed her cheek.

Rye "Oohhhhh Korra's got a boyfriend!!!"

Ria "Oh shut up Rye you don't know that..."

Rye "Look Ria he called her baby that has to mean something is going on between them."

Ria "Could just call her that..." She then folded her arms.

Rye "Oh and he kissed her cheek." His eyes lightened up as he proved his point.

Korra "Okay enough of the bickering you two." She now said with Mako's arms wrapped around her. His head resting on her left shoulder. "We are dating and engaged."

Ria "OOOH you two getting married!"

Rye " Congratulations!" Jumping into the air as he said it.

Mako "Haha thank you."

Korra "Now why did we come out here? To play?"

Ria "YEAH!!!"

Rye "What should we play?"

Ria "Ooh I know I wanna pretend to be a water bender!!!"

Rye "I want to pretend to be a Fire bender!!"

Ria "Why don't we pretend we are being invaded by..."

Rye "Wait Ria we should learn some moves from them before we go out non-bended handed see what I did there."

Ria "Right Korra can your please show us some moves?"

Rye "Seriously nobody is gonna laugh at that?"

Korra "Yeah Mako come wanna show Rye some moves?"

Mako "Of course." He took Rye over away from the girls he didn't want to hurt them while he bended his fire bump into Korra bending her water.
"Alright Rye this is a simple move." He demonstrated the simple palm strike of fire. Rye simply copied and nailed it cause let me tell you who couldn't?
"You could do all sorts of move with that just let your imagination take that for now without your bending if you have any sport." He said running his hand through Rye's hair.

Rye then smiled and did a cartwheel pretended to shoot fire out his palms with both of them together in opposite directions. "Did I do good?"

Mako "Yes yes you did."

Now Korra and Ria walked down to the small pond so she could show her some moves.

Korra "Ok first we'll just bend it you have to let the energy flow throughout your body. Move your hands like so." She demonstrated by moving her hand around in a circle like pattern holding the circle of water in mid air.

Ria "OOH let me try!!!" She squealed. She then moved her hands around you could see the water rippling in the small pond. As the water started to rise. "OH MY GOSH LOOK I'M DOING IT!!!" Really Korra was bending it for her. "Hey!" She said looking over at Korra bending the water for her.

Korra "Haha alright alright I just wanted you to have some fun like it looks like you were actually bending the water." She stopped bending the water.

Ria "Nah it's okay I get it anyways let go of the water."

Korra's mouth dropped. "Uh I did Ria..."

Ria "OH MY!!!!" Varrick and Ju Lee ran outside.

Varrick "What Happened I heard a distress call?"

Ria "DA OK OH MY FIRE BOMBS!!! OH MY FROZEN SPIRITS!!"

Rye ran over followed by Mako. "Ok when Ria says oh my frozen spirits somethings not right or something surprised her in some way."

Ria "LOOK I'M BENDING WATER!!!" She began to play with the water trying out new moves.

Varrick walked up to her and kneeled down to her level putting one of his hands on her shoulder. "I'm proud of you sweetie."

Ria "Thanks Varrick." She said with that cute little smile appearing."

Korra "A little waterbender in your family now."

Ju Lee" Yeah but Korra can you teach her how to waterbend?"

Korra "Uh I don't see how that's possible if your going to be living in the Northern Water Tribe..." She said with a confused face on.

Varrick "Oh right well Ju Lee and the kids are going to live in Republic City I have some business to take care of in the North with Asami but I'll be back to see the kids grow up don't worry. I'm not gonna be one of those dads who stay away too long and never see their kids. I'll be working here in Republic City with my movies and business again."

Korra "That's great! Did you buy a house there yet?"

Ju Lee"Varrick's gonna have his men build one for us in the mean time Pema let us live with you guys."

Korra "That's nice of her..."

Ria " Look mom I learned how to freeze the water!!"

Ju Lee "Good job honey. Oh soon it will be snowing in Republic City and we will all know why." The three laughed.

Korra "Oh! Fire Lord Izumi said we could use their beach house the one the royal family uses. You guys should come."

Ju Lee "Aw thanks for the invite when?"

Korra "Hmm I have no idea I was thinking we should just do it while we were here. Then go back to Republic City."

Varrick "Sounds good."

Izumi "I can show you the way tomorrow."

Korra "Okay sounds great."

Mako "What are we talking about?"

Korra "Well Mako you missed it all the total gist they are moving to Republic City staying with Tenzin and us. And we are going to the beach house tomorrow to have some FUN DAYS."

Mako "Cool." Soon they all went inside to eat dinner. Then they all went to bed they needed rest for tomorrow.

Okay so sorry guys I have time to fix what I want to this but I just don't make the time because this drives me crazy. Like I'm almost done with the last chapter and you guys will hopefully get it next week Friday on your Thanksgiving day off I hope all of you guys are off anyways love you my benders
