Chapter 13 Part two

Senna " Hello Mako... It's getting late shouldn't you be going home?"

Mako " Yes but I needed to talk to you first..."

Senna " What is it?"

Mako " Well as you know me and Korra are dating again... and I feel like we are supposed to be together forever... And I've been thinking for a while to ask Korra's hand... hand in um... marriage." He started feeling the heat. He was sweating and fidgeting his fingers now. "... I've come to ask for permission for Korra's hand in marriage..." Tonraq looked at Senna.

Senna " Mako..."

Mako interrupts her. " I know what you might say and yes I may have hurt her heart once but I don't intend to do it again because I love her... I love your daughter, my mind races thinking about her all the time... I can't stop thinking of us. Korra has taught me so much... ever since we meet... I knew their was something special about her."

Tonraq " Mako... hold on you didn't even know what we were going to say." He smiles.

Senna " Look Mako we approve."

Mako " Oh... thank you so much..."

Tonraq " Mako of course we approve because we know how much you love our daughter. She's written us letters about you two. She can't stop writing about... Never mind that I just know that she loves you and I wish you luck."

Mako " THANK YOU SO MU..."

Senna " Mako I would be a little more quieter just incase..."

Mako " Yes yes sorry and I have to go... thank you and goodnight." He says as he exits the temple. He made it home and hops into bed with a smile on his face. ' I can't believe I can ask her now that I have permission.' As he laid there smiling he realized how is he going to propose to her. ' Oh great didn't think this far...' Mako quickly fell asleep with that last thought in his mind.

We return to the Dream World

Mako opens his eyes. The bright sun shone through his blinds. It was too bright and his sight was blurry. He saw a black figure moving. The light shown on it and it moved closer to Mako. Then he felt a wild sensation as something began to touch his lips. He realized it was a kiss and he kissed back. His sight began to reappear as he pulled away from the moving figure. It was Korra.

She began to fix her hair as he rubbed his eyes. The sounds of Sato mobiles filled the air as he moved his hands from his eyes. They fixed on Korra, with every blink he did not look away.

Korra smiles at him. " What are you staring at?"

Mako " Just you... my beautiful avatar."

Korra " Awww..." He kisses her cheek.
" Ready for a new day?"

Mako " Why not?" They both get up from the bed and get ready for the day. As they spent the day in the park, walking around Republic city, holding hands nothing could ruin their perfect moment. Later Mako and Korra returned to his apartment and got dressed up to go out to dinner. They walked to the restaurant and got seated a table.

Korra " You look pretty handsome my city boy."

Mako " Nothing compares to you..."

After the waiter brought their drinks they ordered.

Korra " So ya my parents are in town I can't wait to help rebuild Republic City."

Mako " I'm sure it will be exciting to see it all come together. Two Avatars build in one city."
