Chapter 3

Since Mako had two days off he decided to go hang out with Korra both days. He walked up the grand stairs on Air Temple Island to get to his love. She knew he was obviously going to come early. So she woke up early this morning and got breakfast and met Kai and Jinora in the kitchen.

Jinora " Morning Korra."

Kai " Ready to face the day."

Jinora " Wait why are you up so early I thought you weren't a morning person."

Korra " Morning and yes I'm not a morning person but someone is coming to see me today and I'm happy!"

Jinora " Mako? I would be happy if Kai came to visit me every now and then too you know if you didn't live here."

Kai " I would visit you night and day. Even if I was blind I would still find a way to find my love."

Jinora blushes and Kai takes her chin and kisses her. She fainted then.

Korra " Jinora?"

Jinora " I'm fine..." She waves her hands around on the floor. Mako made it up the stairs and Korra saw him coming through the window. She ran out the door and jumped into his arms he caught her.

Mako " What's going on?"

Korra " I missed you..."

Mako places her down slowly with her arms still around his neck and his hands on her hips.

Mako "I missed you too... ready to go?"

Korra " Where?"

Mako " I don't know what did you want to do today?"

Korra " Um..." The kids run outside.

Ikki " Mako! Mako!"

Meelo " Eh."

Rohan " Korra want to play with us?"
He used his big green eyes to win her over. Mako was thinking please say no. She couldn't turn him down. Pema overheard what they said.

Pema " Kids come inside... want pancakes?"

Rohan and Meelo " YESSSSS!!!!"

Ikki " Uh boys..." She runs in after them.

Mako " Good..."

Pema winks at Korra. " Thanks!"

They walk down the stairs and head to the park. While they were walking Mako saw a flower and gave it too her. She took in and put it in her hair.

Korra " Look Mako..." She points to the tree they fell asleep under while on the search for Bolin. "... It's where we first slept together."

Mako " Yeah and then we freaked out."
They laughed.

They walked back to Mako's apartment and spent the rest of the day talking about the old days in probending and how Asami's company is flying by. Bolin wasn't home yet, probably with Opal. Once he heard she was in town he immediately went to see her. It was getting late and they didn't seem to notice.

Korra " When did that happen?"

Mako " During one of our practices."

Korra " When I had a crush on you." she blushes just admitting that made her get a weird feeling in her stomach.
They were on the couch Mako was sitting up straight with Korra laying on his lap.

He looked down at Korra. " Really?"

" Couldn't you tell then?"

" No."
