City Boy's Birthday

Chapter 8

Bolin walks into Mako's apartment. He didn't know if he was home or not but used his set of keys to get in.

Mako " Bro is that you?" Bolin can hear him down the hall must be getting ready in the bathroom or something.

Bolin " Yah it's me."

Mako" I'll be right there." Bolin walks around his apartment noticing the different decor. There were more picture frames around his room well maybe just a couple. It was a young women. Oh its Korra. There were two pictures of Korra by herself and in the midde was a picture of both of them. They were holing hands walking on Air Temple Island. There backs to the camera with a majestic sunset in front of them.

Bolin " I should do this with Opal." He says not noticing he said it out loud. Mako walked up the hallway.

Mako " What?" He stands next to his brother they both looking down at the table with the three pictures.

Bolin " I really like this it's cute. I said that maybe I should do this with me and Opal." Mako puts his hand on Bolin's shoulder.

Mako " You should she would really like it. I haven't shown Korra yet maybe when she sleeps over again. So what did you want bro?" Bolin looks at Mako.

Bolin " Um... oh ya um... what do you want for your birthday?"

Mako " Bo you don't' have to buy me anything."

Bolin " You don't have to say that, we know you want something."

Mako " Buy something you think I will like you know me enough." He smiles at him.

Bolin looks at the clock. " Oh I have to go meet up with Opal. See yah later." Bolin walks out of the room and closes the door behind him. He walks out of the building and goes to meet Opal.

At Asami's factory Korra and Rohan walk down to talk plans for Mako's birthday party.

Korra and Rohan walk through the door and the factory doesn't seem that busy as yesterday. Asami heard the big doors close.

Asami smiles. " Hey Korra! Rohan!" Korra smiles as Rohan waves.

Rohan " Hey Asami!"

Asami " Let's go somewhere else to talk about this." They walk down to Avatar Korra park and sit down in the grass area. Many people were out playing with their kids or playing with their friends, spirits, family.

Korra " Ok lets talk details."

Asami " So where do you want it?"

Korra " Maybe the Air Temple it wil be easier then me trying to walk over to the city area you know. I could get delayed."

Asami " Ya I get your point thats true." She writes this down on a notepad. " Ok... Air Temple... decorations? Oh wait theme?"

Korra " Probably a color." 'Still thinking.'

Rohan stops running around playing with a spirit and sits down and the spirit lands on his lap." What about probending theme?" The spirit flies up from his little lap and Rohan gets up and runs around again chasing it.

Korra " That's not a bad idea I like that. Maybe we should have it at the arena!"

Asami " Where it all began!" Their faces light up.

Mako walks out of his apartment building and walks through Avatar Korra park to get to the station. He breathed in the grassy and city air. Rohan still chasing the little thing he turns around and sees Mako walking in the park. Aparently he didn't see them yet. Rohan runs back to where Asami and Korra were sitting. He taps Korra's shoulder and she turns around.
