Chapter 14

Mako and Korra made it to the restaurant and got seated. Mako felt like 100 degrees.

Korra " Is there something wrong honey?"

' Honey she's never called me honey before ok I need to calm down.'

Mako " I'm fine..."

Korra " I know when your ok or not are you sure your ok?"

Mako " 100% percent sure." The waiter came and took their orders and quickly returned with their refreshments. They talked and talked until their food arrived.

Korra " Good I'm starving."

Mako " Me too." He digs in. After they eat he pays the check and they walk down the street. They hop onto the boat to take them back to Air Temple Island. Korra looks at the Avatar Aang statue as Mako looks at her. Moonlight shone on her face and glimmered on the water. They reached the Island. They exit the boat and the walk up a few stairs and sit on them to look at the beautiful silver moon.

The light of the moon reflected on Korra's eyes. He looked at her and she was the only thing he say.

Mako " Beautiful moon tonight huh?"

Korra " Yes I love the moon... I'm always awake then. Like how you feel full of energy in the morning through afternoon. Then at night I feel the energy race through my body. I feel so alive because we water benders are most powerful at night like how you most powerful at daylight..."

They walked up the stairs and walked inside nobody was in the living room and it seemed like the whole house was vacant.

Korra "I had a good time Mako..."

Mako "So did I..." 'I wonder if it's ready...'He thought after he mouthed the words.

Korra almost shut the door. "Night."

Mako "Wait get changed and meet me outside ok."

Korra "Mako?"

Mako "Trust me." Korra shook her head and walked down to her room for changed into her regular clothes. "Meelo, Tonraq?"

Meelo "Over here!" Mako ran to the gazebo where Korra likes to meditate.

Mako "I see you guys lit all the candles around the gazebo what about the trail of them that are supposed to lead her from the front door to the here?!?!"

Tonraq "We ran out of matches."

Meelo "You guys were coming and I lost the last one and I can't find it in the dark."

Mako "Ok that's ok I'll light the rest of them it up go before she sees you guys."

Tonraq out his hand on Mako's shoulder snd gave him the eye shook his head and ran the opposite direction to the back of the house to get in.

Meelo"Good luck." Mako slipped off his jacket and walked to the where the last candle was lit and the others weren't. He took a deep breath then began shooting little fires at the target. When he heard the door open he ran back quickly to the gazebo to get in position.

Korra followed the candles to the gazebo as planned and saw Mako standing there surrounded by candles. There were little rose petals on the gazebo's wooden floor what a view of the ocean it was when you looked out. You could still see a little of the sun the good taste of day light shined in her eyes making them sparkle. Mako kneeled on one knee...

Korra looked at him. " I love you with all I've got. Korra I've been thinking we do have a future together. I love you with all four elements. Your are the fire in my heart that burns with passion. I would wake up in the morning happy with the thought that I am going to see you soon. Korra Will you marry me?"
