Bethany had had a wonderful night. After dinner, she soaked in the bathtub for a while, and then blew her out so it wouldn’t need much work in the morning. She given herself a facial, ironed her clothes, and packed and re-packed her backpack three times. Finally, at ten twenty-two, she collapsed into a restful sleep.

She was already up when Margaret's alarm clock went off. She'd been up since seven o'clock, perfecting herself for first impressions. Her dark hair was cascading down her back in shiny, silky, voluminous curls. Her eyes stood out, outlined in black, covered with shimmery skin-tone eye shadow that made her look innocent. But then her bright pink glossy lips gave her a girlish-edge.  She looked beautiful, and she knew it. Her mom called from downstairs that breakfast was ready, so she went downstairs, trying to make the hour fly by.

Last night, Margaret and Matt had almost never left each other all night, which drove Cassidy almost completely insane. They'd even made-out, by the ocean and by the fire. It was actually a really fun night for almost everyone. Margaret had gotten home at two-thirty and barely changed into her pajamas when she fell asleep. Her dreams were sweet and magical. At eight o'clock, her alarm clock started the first day of school.

While Bethany was trying to make the hour pass, Margaret was using every second. She took a quick shower, and ran to room from the bathroom. She dried her hair quickly, and then went to her closet. She pulled out the outfit she'd bought yesterday just for today, and put it on.

The entire outfit was from an Abercrombie and Fitch classic look, and it was Margaret's favorite color: navy blue. The shirt was long sleeve, but lightweight so that she wouldn't get hot. It was navy blue, and had buttons that went down to just below her bust. Over that, she put a navy blue skirt that had pink and light blue azalea flowers all over it. It went to the end of the middle of her thigh, and went in at her waist, hugged her hips, and then flowed out prettily. The shirt was tucked in the skirt because that was the style these days. To finish the look, she wore a navy cardigan, which was fitted, and had two pockets on the front, each with a navy bow on them. And she wore pink Steve Madden flats the exact pink as on the skirt. The entire ensemble was super adorable.

It made her eyes even bluer, she thought, and then she went to work again. She did her make-up perfectly, not messing up once. She put on light pink eye shadow that a slight sparkle to it, and then outlined her eyes in black eyeliner, finally lengthening her lashes with mascara. She put on a little blush, and then some peachy pink lipstick. She looked almost perfect. She went to straightening her hair, and when she was done, she admired herself in the mirror, happy with the turn out.

She looked very girly in her outfit, and she loved it. Her hair was even more gorgeous today, and her face looked angelically mischievous. She smiled at herself once more, got her bag and backpack, and walked downstairs.

"Bye!" she called to her parents, grabbing a waffle out of the toaster and her keys. She walked out of the door, and headed to Cherry Hill High School.

Bethany had her own car, and drove herself to school just in time in her silver BMW. She got there the same time as everyone else, and found a parking space right up front no one had taken yet.

"Weird," she murmured to herself as she pulled into the space. She looked herself over once before getting out of the car, and bracing herself for the day ahead of her.

When Margaret drove into the school, Bethany had just gotten inside the cool school building. Margaret was driving down her row, and pulling up to her space, when she almost hit a Jetta.

"What the h!" she said. Someone had taken her space! No way! She blinked a few times, as if the car would magically go away, but it stayed there. She angrily sped away and found another space close to that one. Great; the school day hasn’t even started yet and you're already pissed, she thought.
