Bethany pulled into her driveway, got out and strolled into her house.
"Hey mom! I'm home!" she called. Her mom rounded the corner.
"Hey honey! How did your day go?" she asked.
Bethany flashed a smile, "Perfectly," she said. She turned and ran up the stairs, into her room. She shut the door and walked to mirror. She smiled triumphantly. She'd won today. And now all she had to do to top it off according to Cassidy was get Matt. It was going to be so easy. She had her plan all figured out.
Cassidy said Matt jogged with his dog down that path everyday at three exactly, so she just had to wait. She checked her phone: 2:56. She smiled and ran over to open her window. She primped her hair and sure enough, at 3:02, Matt was jogging down the path.
"Hey! Matt!" she called leaning out of her window. He stopped with his golden retriever and looked up.
"Bethany. Hey." He said, smiling slightly.
"Hey, you headed to the beach?" she asked him, smiling.
"When I finish walking her." He pointed to his dog.
"I'll meet down there. Okay?" she grinned.
"Alright. Sure," he said, flashed a smile, and started jogging again.
Bethany stared at him as he went, grinning. This might just work.
She walked over to her phone and called Cassidy.
"Hello?' she answered on the first ring.
"Cassidy? Hey," Bethany replied.
"So. What'd he say?" she asked.
"Hey said see you there!'" Bethany said happily.
"Yay! Go to the beach. Where a bikini that shows a lot. If Margaret's there even better. I'll be there at four." She told her.
"Okay! See you then. Bye," Bethany said.
"Byes!" Cassidy said cheerfully.
Bethany hung up.
A bikini that showed a lot? She had plenty of those. She grabbed her Victoria's Secret skimpiest suit. It was a bandeau top, and was horizontal rainbow stripes. She put it on and smiled again. She would be the best looking chick at the beach with her 32C's sticking out for the world to see. She grabbed her white strapless, ruffles over the boobs cover-up dress. Finally, she brushed her hair, redid her lip-gloss, and grabbed her Hollister flip-flops.
She walked downstairs and called, "Going to the beach," as she walked out of the door.
She didn't drive, she just walked. When she got to the sand, she saw a girl Lizzie that she had talked to earlier.
"Lizzie!" she called. Lizzie smiled and walked over to her.
"Hey Bethany! What's up?" she smiled.
"Just going down to the beach. Wanna hang out?" she smiled at her.
"Yeah!" Lizzie exclaimed. Obviously, she wasn’t popular, just a hanger-on.
They began to tromp down the beach, flip-flops in hands.
"So I heard about what happened with Margaret," Lizzie said.
"Yeah?" Bethany replied.
"I think it’s awesome!" she said.
Bethany laughed, "It felt good. I haven’t known the girl for twenty-four hours and I already hate her guts." They were silent walking down to everyone.
