Ava....
How can you have the greatest guy ever and still think about another guy? My husband and I have been together for 7 years now. He's amazing! Any women would be proud to call him her man. I'm not saying that I'm not proud to say he's my husband but for year's I've been holding this secret from him.
It all started back in 2005. I was sitting in Social Studies class listening to our teacher Mr. Glass talk about the Trojan War and how we were going to have a pop quiz on it. Then, suddenly I was interrupted by this not so good looking but cute in his own way guy ask me for a damn sheet of paper. It's so funny that I never even payed attention to this kid and we were already into the fifth month of the school year.
I guess because I wouldn't have considered myself popular back then. I never went to the Friday night football games, house parties on Saturday, or Skatezone to turn up on Sunday. I was laid back. If I wasn't at home watching TV, I was either hanging out with my brothers or on the phone talking to my bestie Katrina."Zeus! Can you please have a seat!" Our teacher Mr. Glass yelled out.
Mr. Glass was a cool teacher but he was very stern when it came to getting his class work done.
"Alright, I'm going now" Zeus said.
I quickly gave him a sheet of paper and watched him walk to the other side of the class room where he sat with all of the other cocky suburb thugs.
Zeus? That sounds pretty accurate. I thought to my self. His crew followed behind him like he was some type of Greek God.
After Zeus sat in his seat.
This girl name Stacy got up to sharpen her pencil just so she can show off... as always. I swear she had the hoe stroll down packed."Damn Stacy"! That ass is fat! This chunky kid name Nate called out.
"What ever Nate" Stacy said while trying to look conservative.
"Quit acting like you don't like that!" He said grinning.
"Nate this is your final warning before you are out of my class" Mr. Glass said calmly while sitting at his desk grading papers from the last period.
" OK you got it Mr.G"! Nate said looking worried
" Thank you". "OK class you have about three minutes before class is over"." Finalize your answers and pass your papers to the first person in your row."
"Ding,ding, ding"
Everyone got up and rush to the door but Mr. Glass got up from his desk screaming.
"The bell doesn't dismiss you." "I do"!
The class got silent and returned backed to their desk looking anxious to leave.
"OK make sure you guys read the next chapter because we are going to do a project next week". "Enjoy your weekend". "You are dismissed".
Again the class rush to the door almost knocking over Mr. Glass this time.
"Bad ass kids" he mumbled under his breathe while waving good bye.
Not even noticing that I was right behind him. "Oh, Ava have great weekend"Mr. Glass said looking startled.
"You to Mr.Glass" I said while walking out the door laughing at how quick he turned from hood to a proper educated teacher in a blink of a eye.
"Damn it's cold out here" I said to myself while checking my watch to see if I had time to stop by my locker before third period.
Our Social Studies class was outside in the trailers and I hated coming to or from there. Especially in 30 degree weather.
Looking ahead I saw my bestfriend Katrina walking my way with her scarf wrapped around her head like she was Muslim.
